Epispect Headquarters A skinny, dark looking building that resides in the dead center of the city, it looks like it's been painted with a black, opalescent paint and the windows are tinted. It towers over all of the other buildings, dwarfing them in comparison. Very seldom do you see people wandering in or out of its gates, shrouding it in nothing but mystery.
City Square (3 sub-boards) The town center, aside from Epispect's building. There's a clock in the middle that rises out of a fountain filled with dirty water. Occasionally coins are found in this fountain, but they don't seem to stay there for long, the lower class people coming by and plucking them from the water. There are a few restaurants and other small businesses around here, run by the people of course.
Aether Park Off to the side of the square, a large, Gothic style gateway with in old style metal lettering reading 'Aether park' opens up into one of the few, lush and beautiful places left in this barren world. Flowers are abundant as are trees and green grass. The large amount of plants leaving a floral scent lingering in the air, a wonderful contrast to the dirty smells of the city.
Market Place (3 sub-boards) Across from where the large Gothic gates to the park resides another gate in a similar fashion. It opens up to a large, round area where many people have set up small stands - offering homemade and home grown goods, along with several different odds and ends here. Some even seem to be selling pokemon and useful trinkets. With a wide smile, each merchant urges you to come and take a gander.
Housing Areas (2 sub-boards) Off toward the edge of the city lies a forked road. While both ways are relatively clean, one seems to be much fancier and larger than the other, easily distinguishing the upper class living district from the middle class. Either way, these two places are much desired by those who live in the slums, most doing almost anything to be able to live here.
Aether Carnival Rides of all speeds, shapes and sizes stand lit brightly with colorful bulbs. If you can imagine it, it's here - even virtual reality games can be found! From roller coasters to love boats, you're bound to find what's right for you and your occasion here. Several stands also dot the location, games set up with prizes of all kinds, their keepers tempting you to play a round or two.
The Food Court Seeming to line the outer ring of the fair grounds, several carts, stands and even small food service vans stand, side by side, offering different types of food - from noodles, to ice cream, you can find anything to fix the cravings that ail you.
Carnies Park Off to the side, far from the hustle and bustle of the carnival is a park, tranquil and quiet. With paths dimly lit with strands of gold and silver lights, occasional paper lanterns hanging among the trees, it's a beautiful - and if you see it that way, romantic - place to be. Use it to your advantage.
The Prize Booth Assuming you've participated in the recent event, this board holds what you really have interest in - the things you can buy with the currency given to you from the event. Make sure you use up all those points before the event ends, or they're useless!
The Jungle Aside from the abandoned sector, this is the lowest in the slums you can get. It's dark, covered in wires from the power plant, dirty and smells like exhaust... and it's infamous for being the crime hub of the city, including the majority of the black market trades. This is not the place where you want to be... or live.
The Canopy Learning that the jungle was not the place that you wanted to live, the lower class citizens who are more or less forced to live here in the slums have worked together to make a safe haven above, building small houses and huts on top of older buildings and a network of rickety bridges. It's not the best looking, nor does it seem to be the sturdiest thing in the world, but at least it's safer than hanging around The Jungle.

Electric Plant This rather bulky and bland building, made of thick concrete in a square shape, is the 'life blood' of the city, so to say. It provides power to every business, home and well... everything. The area is well guarded, power being a precious and expensive resource in a time like this. Though, if you can slip past the guards, it's rumored that some excellent pokemon lurk within the stone cold walls.
Underground Tunnels There are three words anyone will tell you before you enter the tunnels - "don't get lost." It's easier said than done, really - The layout of these tunnels more like a expertly crafted labyrinth than and old water way and wire route. The residents of Aether tend to 'fondly' refer to this place as 'The Catacombs', as on occasion, you can find the bones of old residents laying around.
Abandoned Sector This area is far from the pride and joy of the city. It's fallen out from the books as to why this sector has been abandoned, but now it lies in ruin. Now closely resembling an old war zone, dead and decaying cars litter the streets, walls are crumbling and covered in graffiti and old human and pokemon bones can be found scattered around. Word has it that this sector is haunted, a deep haze from city waste only furthering the idea of this rumor. Care to find out?
The Wastelands What was once a lush and fertile farming land is now over cultured and dead, completely useless to anyone. More than anything now, this area seems to be more of a desert... minus the sand. Even seems like nothing should survive here... though it does, several ground types finding the area to their liking. It's advised that you avoid this area on windy days, as dust storms are known to be quite common in this area.
Lake Antebellum There's a reason behind the people of the city naming the great lake "Antebellum". Unlike many lakes of the day, it existed before the "end of times"... though it was much larger then and had a considerable amount of vegetation growing around its shore. Though it is still beautiful and surrounded with trees and small patches of green grass, it shows how barren the land truly is. The city now uses this as their main source of water, several pipes leading from the lake up to Aether.
Pallida Mors Forest This forest certainly lives up to it's name. Like the abandoned sector, there is a thick haze creeping it's way between the trees, both dead and alive, making it hard to navigate your way. Many ghosts seem to enjoy lurking the forest, playing tricks on the poor souls who enter their midst... though that's not all that lurks the forest. Rumor has it that the forest has a vengeful guardian that takes the lives of those who wander so willingly into its forest. Is the risk worth it?
The Caves Not too far away from the city resides a network of caves, where they go... nobody knows. There's a small camp outside of the mouth, guards which the city has hired residing here, as people have been known to randomly wander out of it's entrance. This has given the caves an infamous reputation, the people believing that they lead to other colonies, which contact to is forbidden. Do they really?
Amplus Mountain Range - 1 Viewing Despite the name, this range is longer than it is wide, but that doesn't make crossing them any less dangerous. People who come here have been known to disappear forever, leaving it unknown if you really can make it to the other side or not. The tops are capped in snow, and the slopes are rather green for the area - it's a mystery to the people why it's so lush. Rumor has it that there's a small village somewhere on one of it's slopes... maybe this is where the people disappear off to, finding a better life? Or is this all a hoax to get rid of citizens?
Sea Shore If you're lucky enough to cross the Amplus mountains, you'll find yourself at the shore of a sea. So far, there seems to be no way to cross it's mass, but the sight is sure one to behold. The temperatures are fairly cool, ice decorating the rockier portions of the shore, but it's peaceful here. Nothing seems to be wrong... yet.

Steel unload, final blow
In the year 3075, civilization is on the road to recovery after experiencing the apocalypse and things seem fine... until a virus strikes. There's but one cure to the virus - to become a Gijinka by the grace of the company known as Epispect. But now, as the virus has mostly died out, humans are jealous of these Gijinka and would rather have them dead to steal the pokemon DNA from their bodies - selling it on the black market and using it for themselves. With a war seeming eminent in these dark times, who will you side with?
