WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Litwick || Male || Flame Body || Fire / Ghost || 10 Ember || Astonish || Minimize || Smog || Fire Spin || Confuse Ray || The little candle Pokemon watched through the dark and the branches, waiting for the human to pass by and be lured in... only she was there, and she was very near walking past him altogether. ”...lit...wick?” The ghost sighed dejectedly. What, was his light not bright enough? Did she simply not see him?
Only then the human stopped, her Soliosis deciding to push into the bushes ahead of her and come towards the Litwick on it’s own. Ah, now this would be interesting... but he needed human souls, not Pokemon. The Litwick frowned, deciding to come up with a different came plan. ”Hello there, brother!” Came the little cry from the branches, hoping to get the green Pokemon’s attention.

My tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why I got out of bed alone Angeline was content to stand and wait, simply listening in on what was going on around her as her pokemon set out to explore. John wandered a bit closer to the little like, peeking up at it before floating up towards it. "Solo?" He said softly, peeking up at the little ghost. "What are you doing up there?" The pokemon asked, staying a bit away. Why was the litwick sitting on a branch? Why was he up so high? Didn't he know he could be spotted up there? Absolutely anyone could just see him! Or maybe he wanted to be seen? John wasn't very good at ghost types, really. The morning rain clouds up my window And I can't see at all

WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Litwick || Male || Flame Body || Fire / Ghost || 10 Ember || Astonish || Minimize || Smog || Fire Spin || Confuse Ray || Ah, good, so the Soliosis was approaching after all. The candle waved one waxy, stubby arm at the green jellyball as he floated closer, staring up at him and asking him what he was doing up there. Upon being asked, the little candle grinned ear to... well, non existent ear. Another little wave of his little hand as he spoke. ”Oh, good sir! Handsome Soliosis, will you be so kind as to call your human over here too?” The Litwick chimed happily.
Again, the little candle peered up and over the branches to the human standing just beyond the brush. She looked like a fine young specimen of a human female, and the Litwick concentrated for a second, causing his flame to burn brighter. Didn’t she see it?

My tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why I got out of bed alone Angeline remained blissfully unaware of how hard the litwick was trying. No matter how high the flame went, she simply wasn't going to notice it. John was a bit more intelligent then that. Why did a wild pokemon want to be around his mistress? There had to be some reason for it, and it was his duty to protect her, wasn't it? Better to check and make sure, first. "Why, exactly, do you want to talk to her? She's under my protection, after all, and I can't just let any old pokemon talk to her." The solosis responded, rather proud of how protect he was. WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Litwick || Male || Flame Body || Fire / Ghost || 10 Ember || Astonish || Minimize || Smog || Fire Spin || Confuse Ray || The little candle Pokemon frowned deeply as the Soliosis refused to call her right away, instead asking him why he wanted to speak with her. There was little hesitance though; the Litwick knew what to do in these situations. It wasn’t like he wasn’t faced with difficult humans or protective Pokemon; if he gave up every time, then his flame would’ve burned out long ago.
With as much effort he could muster, the little candle put on his cutest pout and stared longingly at the woman. ”I don’t see humans very often around here. They’re always so afraid of the woods. I love to talk to them, but they always just run away.” He said in his most mournful voice, accented with a deep sigh at the end. He just wanted to talk to some human, anything to keep him from getting so lonely out here!

My tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why I got out of bed alone John, for all his loyalty and bravery, was not exactly the sharpest crayon in the box. The Litwicks explanation seemed plausible enough, so he was more then happy to nod his round little head. ~Of course~ He thought, more then happy to bring some proverbial light to another pokemon's life. Floating back to Angeline, he nudged against her hand. ~A friend wants to meet you~ He thought, and Angeline nodded carefully, content to let John be her guard as they approached the little candle. She didn't look up, of course, but when the Solosis stopped her, it was easy enough to guess why. "Hello there." She called lightly. The morning rain clouds up my window And I can't see at all

WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Litwick || Male || Flame Body || Fire / Ghost || 10 Ember || Astonish || Minimize || Smog || Fire Spin || Confuse Ray || Excellent. Eeeeexcellent, the Litwick thought with an almost evil cackle in his mind. The Soliosis went off to retrieve his mistress, and now the Litwick could absorb some good life energy and make himself stronger for the weeks ahead when there would be none. He was already getting weak from a couple of weeks without, and this was a good opportunity if any. He’d be damned if he let it slip by.
”Ah, but I am so short of sight. Can she come a little closer?” The candle Pokemon called when she came without three feet of the tree and stopped. Now that wouldn’t do; she needed to be quite close for him to be able to do this properly...

My tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why I got out of bed alone John was certainly not what most would consider intelligent, but he wasn't exactly stupid, either. He raised a single eyebrow as the Litwick made his request, wiggling in the air slightly. "~That's silly. You shouldn't need to see to talk. She does just fine, after all.~" The solosis commented, glancing between them. She didn't see at all, and she could talk just fine, couldn't she? Staying where she was, and oblivious to their conversation, Angeline opted to simply be polite. "Hello there. Are you a friend of Johns?" She asked, trying to be polite, even if she wasn't quite sure where to look. John was normally the one to direct her in situations like this, and to do so subtly, but he seemed occupied at the moment. The morning rain clouds up my window And I can't see at all

WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Litwick || Male || Flame Body || Fire / Ghost || 10 Ember || Astonish || Minimize || Smog || Fire Spin || Confuse Ray || The Litwick would’ve pouted at the denial of his request, had he not known that it might have given him away. Instead, he opted to move closer to the girl instead, even if it’d put him in a more open position to be attacked himself. Silently, and without response, the little candle jumped off the branch and floated quietly down to the ground, landing without a sound thanks to his ghost abilities.
”Lit! Litwick!” I am very good, ma’am.
[/color] He cried quietly towards the woman, inching just a bit closer and coming to a stand next to the Soliosis. She seemed rather kind, but according to the green Pokemon, she was blind. Ah, now that would be excellent, now would it? That meant she couldn’t run away. [/size] [/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify]

My tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why I got out of bed alone Angeline could hear the little pokemon moving closer, specifically when it hit the ground. Oh, so it had been up in the tree, had it? That made sense. She barely even noticed as the litwick began to drain her, oblivious to what she was facing. It was only when the pokemon spoke that she realized, and even then, why would she suspect a random pokemon of draining from her? "It's very nice to meet you." She commented, unable to understand the pokemon, but taking a rough guess anyway. John, though, was not quite so trusting. ~See? Just a human.~ He commented, shuffling between the two. WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Litwick || Male || Flame Body || Fire / Ghost || 10 Ember || Astonish || Minimize || Smog || Fire Spin || Confuse Ray || The Litwick continued to giggle to himself silently, his plan coming out just fine. Without anybody noticing a thing, he’d started the draining process. It would be very slow, and he’d have to follow her around for a long time, but doing it too suddenly might cause the Soliosis to attack him, and that wouldn’t do. His last meal had been a very long time ago, and he was still weak from the lack of human spirit.
So slowly, he began to leech tiny bits of her soul through his candle. It would burn slowly brighter throughout the course of his visit, of course. However, even though he could still drain energy, the Soliosis shuffling between them wasn’t as welcome. However, the Litwick didn’t show any ill towards the green blob and simply leaned a bit to the side.
”Ah, she is a rather pretty human.” He smiled pleasantly, but his eyes refocused. The Soliosis was definitely getting in his way too much, and there was only one way to deal with that, now was there? The Litwick’s brow furrowed and a second later, a faint glowing ball of light came from his flame and floated innocently towards the green Pokemon. A Confuse Ray would do.

My tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why I got out of bed alone John was already suspicious before the attack was even launched. Why did the litwick keep moving like that? It was peeking around him, which was downright odd. The confuse ray, however, made the litwicks intentions horribly clear. Suddenly, John couldn't even remember what he was doing, wobbling around for a few long moments as Angeline simply stood by. "John?" Her voice rang out clear, and in a moment of clarity, John saw his opening. The moment his mind was clear, if even for a moment, he launched towards the Litwick in a rollout, eager to get the litwick away from his mistress. (One turn lost to confusion, then launches into rollout.) The morning rain clouds up my window And I can't see at all

WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Litwick || Male || Flame Body || Fire / Ghost || 10 Ember || Astonish || Minimize || Smog || Fire Spin || Confuse Ray || The confuse ray hit, and the Litwick seemed extremely pleased with himself at this. Now there was nobody in his way, and he’d drain the lady of her life energy and he’d be gladly on his way to do Pokemon things, like everybody else in the forest did. The little fire-ghost type began to creep towards the woman, sucking more and more of her energy as he got closer… and was entirely distracted enough as to not notice the rollout coming right at him.
”Hey!” The Litwick cried as he was smacked square in the side, ruining his concentration for long enough to stop the process. The candle Pokemon glowered at the Soliosis, but not saying a word and hoping he’d stay confused. Instead, his flame suddenly turned purple, and a disgusting purple oozed from it and all around the area in a smog. Once he was entirely sure he had given the move all it was worth, he summoned his fires that shot out in all directions in a fire spin. If he knocked the darned Soliosis out, it would no longer be a problem.

My tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why I got out of bed alone Angeline could not be sure what was going on, but she was starting to get increasingly alarmed. Something was wrong, but without John, who had always acted as her eye, she couldn't understand what it was. Her hand went to her pocket, collecting a second pokeball as she glanced around, unsure. "John?"John, on the other hand, was busy. He was confused, no longer able to think about anything, but his attack was relentless. It rolled right through the smog (which hurt), and the fire spin (which was not so bad, and had no real burn), slamming towards the litwick as his Rollout continued. "John?!" Angeline called again, not realizing that her solosis was shooting another rollout towards the litwick. If he'd been in his right mind, he'd have realized how bad thing were going for him. WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Litwick || Male || Flame Body || Fire / Ghost || 10 Ember || Astonish || Minimize || Smog || Fire Spin || Confuse Ray || Much to his distaste, the Litwick’s two attacks didn’t do as much damage as he thought they would. How disappointing, he thought, rolling his eyes lightly before turning his attention back to the girl. If the Soliosis would just stay confused for long enough, then he’d have his prize and be away before either of them knew what would be going on.
The green blob came spinning at him again, and this time around, he was more than ready for the onslaught. The Litwick, breaking his attention once more, jumped high up into the air and managed to avoid the first rollout, but not the second as he slowly came back down. He cried out as he was slammed into and sent skidding off to the side, with little defense against relentless attacks like that. But he glowered and continued to power through. This time, turning towards the girl, he shot another confuse ray.
