My tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why I got out of bed alone Before, Angeline had been confused about what was going on, but the addition of the confuse ray only made things worse. "John...?" She called out, now turned around and not even facing the proper direction. Things were suddenly alarming and frightening, and she was starting to wish she'd never come to the woods. John didn't like that one bit. Spinning around for another rollout, he broke free of the confusion, launching himself towards the litwick. No way was he going to let Angeline get hurt. His trainer was his, and his alone, and he'd be damned if some little litwick was going to hurt her. Fueled by his own rage, he launched towards her with another rollout. (I should note I'm aiming for a defeat, not a capture.) The morning rain clouds up my window And I can't see at all

WILD POKEMON APPEARED! [/style] Litwick || Male || Flame Body || Fire / Ghost || 10 Ember || Astonish || Minimize || Smog || Fire Spin || Confuse Ray || The Litwick watched warily, trying to do two things at once and neither of them a successful endeavor at the moment. The Soliosis was getting too annoying and way too fast, while the girl, even after the confuse ray hit, refused to stay still. She was beginning to become panicky and frightened and turned in the other direction, which did the little candle no good. He glowered and began to float in the girl’s direction again, only to be barreled in the side by the damned Soliosis.
It was obvious once he looked up that the confusion had worn away. The stubborn little Pokemon seemed to absolutely glower as he got back up to his foot precariously, greatly weakened by the progressively powerful blows delivered by the Soliosis. He got up, but definitely not in time. Damn.
The second hit from the rollout sent him clear into some nearby brambles and bushes, and that’s when the Litwick decided it was time to cut its losses and get out. It would be of no use if he got knocked out and he was able to drain a little energy already, though not all. With a final huff, the little candle disappeared into the bush, his flame low.
Soliosis gained 2 levels for chasing Wild Litwick away!

My tea's gone cold, I'm wondering why I got out of bed alone John's rollout finished with an excellent blow, and for a moment, he almost started another one. Instead he paused. The other pokemon was fleeing now, off into the woods, and he was unwilling to leave Angeline alone. Instead, he turned, floating towards Angeline and nudging against her hand. The confusion didn't last too much longer, but when it did, Angeline was happy for the comfort the green blob provided. "Thank you John." She said softly, pulling the green blob in for a hug. She could tell he was in pain, however, and fished into her bag for a potion, spraying it carefully. "We should go." She didn't want to stay, in case the litwick returned with allies, and with that, she set out. The morning rain clouds up my window And I can't see at all
