Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon, Who is already sick and pale with grief, The German squinted down into the dark abyss, seeing no movement quite yet. It was quite deep from what he could see, and a rock slide must have swept into the area a while ago, because boulders clung along the sides and clustered near the bottom. Magnus was never quite the curious sort, and just let blue eyes jump from rock to rock and see if he could spot anything. Which, of course, he soon did. In fact, he’d need to be blind not to see the sudden flare of light ooze out from between two rocks. What looked like a sentient blob of escaped magma began to crawl over the boulders; the edges of its ‘body’ occasionally snaked out to feel around before going forward. He watched it disappear underneath his ridge, only to come slowly crawling up on one side like a slug. He was amused by the Slugma, to say the least. It moved towards him, inching forward on it’s body, it’s yellow eyes glowing in the dark. It’s whole body seemed to radiate light, and it was a given that the heat was coming off it in droves. Magnus always liked warmth… ”Why hello there…” That thou her maid art far more fair than she: Be not her maid, since she is envious;
