It was where he was brought up, as well as his mother's main income after they had left their father and was forced to change her name and occupation to evade Epispect. It was also where Erik had remained after his mother had died, although he mainly used the cabin they h ad stayed in as a storage area as he ventured around on a journey.
But now that he's found Lydian, Erik wasn't highly compelled to come back. Afterall, what else did he have to come back to, as soon as he moved all of his meagre belongings to Lydian's place in the Abandoned Sector? So in all honesty, as much as Erik was used to the place, he didn't regret planning to leave it at all.
He did like the ease of which he could find things in the Aether market though, and that was perhaps the main reason why Erik had dragged Lydian with him today. Pulling on Lydian's hand, he weaved his way out of the market area, making a beeline straight to the little cabin off the main area, which had multiple tree's with berries growing on them. It was towards this wooden structure that Erik dragged his companion with him,d ropping the other's hand once he pushed the door open.
His eyes fell immediately on the twin Eevee eggs sitting on the sideboard, and Erik breathed a sigh of relief as he collected the two eggs and placed them in the messenger bag, and then eventually surveyed the rest of his home. It was small, enough for only a queen sized bed, a wardrobe and a small area to cook in. Moving towards his wardrobe, he began to pull out the couple of shirts and pants he had, absentmindedly talking to Lydian as he worked. "What do you think we should get from the market later?"

Lydian was on edge from the sounds coming in from the market, the Houndoom Gijinka bristling uneasily from all the noises, even with Erik's hand resting warmly in his own and Delphi's side pressed reassuringly against him, the remainder of his Pokemon hidden in their Pokeballs so as not to cause trouble. He didn't like all this noise and hysteria, it made him feel blind, and when his senses were dulled like this, how was he supposed to properly protect Erik? Still though, he kept down the growling, tamping it down so that no one would suspect he or Erik were illegals. He instead shadowed close beside the boy he was holding hands with, crimson eyes narrowing at anyone who dared look at them the wrong way for thinking them distasteful. Erik was his and that was the end of it! He carefully trained his eyes on his surroundings, letting Delphi and Erik navigate for him and trying to resist the urge to wheel his head every time he heard an unexpected noise. When Erik dropped his hand, Lydian let out a low whine, darting over to the boy's side protectively while Delphi sighed and reared up to close the door behind them with her claws. Her Trainer's whole body was oriented around this boy, so it only seemed fair for her to keep an eye on them. Leaving the two of them to their business, she padded over to the bed and curled up on it, yawning and pillowing her head on her forelegs, her eyes carefully watching them as they moved. Lydian was confused at the sight of the eggs, but he let it slide, too glad to have Erik close to him. He padded over to press himself against Erik's back, growling softly in that content way of his as he wrapped his arms around his waist. "Whatever it is you want to get first," he murmured softly, one corner of his lips turning upwards slightly in pleasure. "My home is your home too now, remember?" OOC: ... Part of me finds it vaguely amusing that their Gijinka sides aren't compatible. Houndooms are Field types... and Sableyes Human-like. OH WELL, THEY'RE CUTE, SO IT DOESN'T MATTER. Team-

Afterall, the slight sized boy wasn't about to leave the guy alone, even if he relaxed just slightly when they finally muted the bustling sounds of the market outside as Delphi shut the door behind them. Erik didn't like how uncomfortable Lydian felt, funny how he strived to make Lydian feel as comfortable as he could now.
Maybe he should start coming to the market himself.
Opening the flap of the bag he had placed on his bed, the guy crouched to fold his clothes and arrange them neatly in his bag, laughing gently when he felt Lydian's arms claiming his waist as he straightened up to grab his backpack from the top of his wardrobe. Leaving the bag on the ground as he turned in Lydian's hold, standing on tip toes to peck his lips, the guy grinned. "Meat, definitely. You can't survive on berries alone." Erik began, using his fingers to pull Lydian's arms away softly, as if reminding him by touch alone that he needed to pack.
Moving away to stuff his messenger bag in to his backpack, the guy latched on its clasp, and then moved to grab his other pair of slippers and stuff them in as well, giving the laying Absol a passing pet as he walked by. "The eggs were sired by Chaos. Funny how such a hyperactive kid like him could be a father right?" Erik kidded with a grin, giving one last look around his place, and finally letting his gaze settle down on Lydian, and eventually extended arms to Lydian in a silent invitation for the elder guy to come towards him. "But they should be hatching soon. Hopefully they won't be as hyperactive as their father."

Erik had a nice laugh, pleasing to the ear. Lydian liked the sound of it from where his arms were around the boy. He purred happily at the quick kiss, bending down a little to help him reach. He sighed though, letting out a soft whine as he retracted his arms again, well aware of Delphi's pointed stare at his back from her position on the bed. He'd let Erik pack in peace, but as soon as the Sableye Gijinka was done, it was back in his arms. "We get meat every now and again. And besides, the berries satisfy our needs," he pouted, sulking a little. Delphi hummed happily at the petting, though she did not move from her spot, content to remain there. And then, when Erik turned and reached for him, Lydian immediately returned to his side, wrapping his arms around him tightly and pulling him to his chest. "I guess it is funny... especially considering how suited Delphi is for mothering and yet she does not have a single child." He leaned down to inhale Erik's scent, basking in it with a delighted growl. "I should hope they behave themselves, for Delphi's sake," he whispered, breath tickling a few strands of hair before he turned his lips down to kiss Erik's head softly. He wouldn't trade this for the world... OOC: They're so cute <3 Team-

Happily, the smaller boy wrapped his arms around Lydian's torso, and softly sighed. "You need more meat. You feel like a stick." Erik complained good naturedly, running his hand up and down Lydian's back comfortingly.
Chuckling again at Lydian's comment, the guy casted a look at the laying Absol, and winced good-naturedly. For her sake, he hoped so to. So far, Erik had yet to let Chaos get free reign of the house, simply because Chaos was exactly like his namesake, like a little terrorizing whirlwind running everywhere around the house, causing massive destruction in his wake. If he placed Chaos and Ragnarok together... well, Erik wasn't exactly sure what would happen.
Humming happily when he felt Lydian's lips at the top of his head, he tilted his head upwards slightly so that the lips would meet his instead of scalp, and Erik happily kissed Lydian, twining himself around the other. Pulling back after awhile with a self-concious blush and look at Delphi's direction, the guy eventually untangled his hands and body from Lydian, and bent down to pick up his backpack, swinging it on his shoulder before picking up Lydian's hand again. "Well, let's go then. Market day doesn't last forever."

Lydian pouted at the insinuation. "I'm not skinny," he sulked. Still, he leaned into the hand softly, letting out a happy growl. He loved feeling Erik in his arms. It made him feel like he was wanted, was needed. Lydian had not felt that way in a long time. Delphi was about ready to settle in for a nap. Erik's bed was warm and soft, not as much as her nest in Lydian's blankets at home but damn near close and it was free of bouncy Pokemon causing her trouble and robbing her of precious sleep. Still though, she knew she had to stay awake to keep an eye on Lydian to keep him from burning down the market. That boy would think nothing of destroying a town if he was so inclined to. The feeling of Erik's lips on his own... Lydian wouldn't trade this for anything. He growled happily as he moved his lips against the Sableye Gijinka's, wanting to make him feel loved. When Erik disconnected though, he sighed but didn't protest, recognizing that the market would only get worse as the day went on. He merely took Erik's hand in acceptance, smiling softly. "No, it doesn't," he murmured, leaning down to kiss the back of Erik's hand quickly before letting it down again, blushing. OOC: They're so cute <3 Team-

He would like to put some meat on to Lydian to be honest, but he's going to have to do it on the sly. That, and Erik was sure Ragnarok and Delphi wouldn't mind some meat to nibble on either. With that thought in his head, the guy dragged Lydian out by his hand to delve right in to the crowd again, blending in easily with the hustle and busy bluster as his sapphire eye roamed. Once in awhile, he had to adjust his eye patch as it got jostled out of the way, and Erik actively went out of his way to avoid getting brushed by random strangers, but otherwise the guy was quite at home as he purchased not only Torchic eggs, but forms of meat and poultry as well.
As Erik was wont to do though, at some point in time during the thickest of the crowd, the small sized boy had gotten distracted, loosening his hold on Lydian's hand as he wandered off to examine something that ha dcaught his interest. One thing had ledt to another, and by the time Erik had purchased a couple of baubles, the guy turned around... only to notice Lydian was nowhere near him.
Inwardly, the guy bit back a curse as slight panic washed over him. Part of that wasmerely due to the fact that Erik hated being apart from Lydian now, but the other just came from him being scared that Lydian would raze the town down trying to look for him. Stuffing his purchases back in his backpack, Erik bit his lip as he fished for a pokeball, and then tossed it to call out Atlanta. "Look for Lydian please, and tell him to calm down if he's freaking out." Erik instructed his Pidgey, crossing his fingers as the bird took off before he called out another one of his Pokemon.
"Chaos, focus!" Erik murmured, tugging at his hyperactive Eevee's ears to get his concentration. "Chaos, scent out where Lydian and Delphi is, and bring me to them. Focus now.' he warned one last time, and breathed a sigh of relief when his Eevee actually seemed to listen to him this time, as he pressed his nose to the ground and Erik began to follow his lead.

Lydian could barely contain his snarling and twitching as he was pulled through the market at Erik's side, the Houndoom Gijinka pretty much attaching himself to Erik's side and bristling whenever someone else touched the smaller boy. He didn't like crowds. He hated them with a fierce passion. They were noisy, angry, and a pain to deal with. No, he'd rather stick with his usual area, thank you very much. The raven-haired male would have ducked out of this a long time ago, hidden away and waited to get what was going to be gotten... but Delphi's glare and Erik's hand kept him following along docilely, eyes glaring but Gijinka powers restrained. Even when Erik let go of his hand... he didn't react, all because Delphi looked like she would bite his hand off if he reacted to it. Growling under his breath and bristling, he stalked over to a little cafe, sitting on one of the delicate wrought-iron chairs and glaring at all the people who passed him by. Delphi rested under the table over his feet, preventing him from getting up as he realized that he couldn't find Erik anymore. He glared at her, willing her to get up, his eyes in a panic, but she merely shook her head and laid her head on her paws. Honestly, Erik wasn't in any danger. The best thing to do now was to sit and wait for Erik to find his way back on his own. OOC: They're so cute <3 Team-

Why were there so many people around? Even high up in the air, it took quite a while before Atlanta could finally differentiate the dark head of her trainer's new constant companion, and swooped down. Narrowly avoiding blinding a passerby with her wings, she fluttered her brown feathers as she alighted on the table Lydian sat on, and then chirrped. "Prrr pidg, pidge, gey prrr!" Erik's somewhere the other side of the market. Follow me if you want to find him. she relayed, waiting for a second or two before taking off again.
Elsewhere in the hustle, Erik tried to keep up with his weaving Eevee, nose on the ground and bushy tail in the air, confident that Chaos would be able to lead him to Lydian. But was he surprised when the Eevee suddenly bounded up happily to a Poffin stand? To be honest, no. Erik merely stared dumbfounded at his easily distracted Pokemon, before slapping his forehead and recalling the young Eevee. Oh, Chaos was going to take some time before he was completely reliable.
"So now what?" the guy murmured to himself, tilting his head upwards to try and see if Atlanta was anywhere nearby, but only seeing clear blue skies. Fishing in his pokeballs again, the guy pulled out another one, and the red flash this time revealed his slightly more reliable Houndour, despite the fact that she flinched at large crowds. Wondering to himself if this dislike of crowds was a Houndoom thing, the guy crouched down and relayed the same message to the Houndour again, crossing fingers as Cerberus pressed her nose to the ground. His dark hound would do better then his distracted Eevee, right?
Following the Houndour towards the edge of the busy market, a frown slowly creased his forehead when he realized they were getting further and further away from the main market area. "Cerberus...?" Erik started, and then pulled himself up, cursing himself inwardly. Of course Cerberus couldn't pick anything up, there were too many other different scents mingling and confusing her nose! "Damn." Recalling the Houndour and thanking her despite everything, the guy was about to turn back and head to the main market area to try his luck again when his steps faltered as a large, burly man stepped in his way. "Er... Could I help you?" he murmured, a little uncertainly. Sure, he could knock them out with a shadow ball or knock out attack, but that means he risked showing his identity as an illegal gijinka, and he's evaded capture for too long to risk that.

Lydian was glaring at the crowd, edgy. Should he send out Mordred to help him? Was it really worth that? He didn't know. All he knew was that the longer he couldn't see Erik, the more his instincts grated on him to get up and hunt down the Sableye Gijinka and never let him go, he just... couldn't. He couldn't do this. He shouldn't do this. His whole body was trembling, even his feet from where they were trapped beneath Delphi's considerable bulk, and it was with this need to go find his Beta, to pick him up and carry him off and call the day over just so that he could ensure he was safe and warm and well-cared for. Or, even better, that he was away from all these crowds and blindness and instead tucked away safe in their bed back at Lydian's home. That way he would know that Erik was perfectly safe and not going anywhere. When the Pidgey landed on the table in front of him, that was when he knew. Erik had gotten lost and was likely in trouble. "C'mon, Delphi, we have to go find him," he commanded, and the red-tinged Absol yawned but slipped out from under the table nonetheless, padding beside him as he darted after the Pidgey. Figuring it'd be quicker with another set of eyes searching, he tossed out Mordred's Pokeball, bringing out the Murkrow to sit on his shoulder patiently, waiting for an order. "Find Erik!" Well, that would do. Mordred cawed and flapped up into the sky, intently scanning the crowd before he zeroed in on a single head at the edge of the market. There was the boy his Trainer wanted. Now... how to direct them... Suddenly, his purpose was diverted by the sight of a burly man stealing up behind the boy, and he let out a little caw. If Erik got hurt... something told him Lydian would not hesitate to destroy the entire market, raze it to the ground for what the smaller male had suffered. So, with a sigh, the little bird Pokemon fluttered down to land on Erik's shoulder and caw loudly, hoping that his species' reputation for doom would be enough to encourage the man to leave this one to his fate. OOC: ... I WAS gonna have Lydi jump out and kick the man in the balls to save Erik... but I think I like this one better. Save the jumping for next post. ;3 Team-

And while Atlanta wanted very much to go down and help as well, she knew that if she could get that Houndoom gijinka nearer, things would be much easier. So leaving the Murkrow to do the scaring, the Pidgey hovered lower, just above Lydian, motioning at him to follow her before she started soaring towards where Erik was.
The boy wasn't doing too badly, surprisingly. Despite a little cautious fear bubbling up, Erik managed to keep the panic fairly clear from his blue eyes, and instead blinked calmly as he took a couple of steps backwards from the burly man's gleaming gaze. "Lost little boy are you?" his rough voice grated on his ears, nothing at all like the lilt in Lydian's voice Erik had grew to love.
Twining his fingers together behind his back, the slight boy jerked in surprise when Mordred suddenly landed on his shoulder and loudly cawed. But what amused Erik more was how the burly man blinked in surprise at the appearance of the Murkrow. "You do know Murkrow's are supposed to be bringer's of doom right?" Erik reminded cheekily, only to regret his words when stubborn determination replaced the wary look the guy had wore at Mordred's appearance. "Well, I'll just have to make roasted Murkrow out of him first then, don't I?" he said with a smirk,c ausing Erik to gulp as he took another cautious step backwards, the hands behind him crackling with black electricity already. Revelation or not, that guy was going nowhere near him if he could help it.

Lydian growled, filled with a sudden sense of urgency. He didn't know why he thought it... but he just knew that Erik was in trouble. He moved faster, ignoring the cries of alarm and indignition from others, merely silencing them with a glowing red stare. He wasn't going to let Erik get hurt, even if it was all just in his head! He ran faster, chasing the Pidgey with abandon. Mordred glared at the man with narrowed eyes, a clear message in his gaze telling the man to kindly fuck off. When the man mentioned roasted Murkrow however, he felt Erik step back and his own ire was aroused. Cawing loudly, he flew forward to Peck the guy's hand, trying to give Erik time to run. Instead, he blinked in surprise when suddenly the guy was on the ground, a bristling male with black hair and burning crimson eyes using a single booted foot to wedge him down. "Don't you dare fuck with him again," he hissed, putting more pressure on the guy until his head was pressed against the ground, making him taste dirt and aspalt. His instincts clamored for him to taste blood, to summon his fire and make it teach the man a lesson. He would have done it already too... but something was niggling at him, holding his fire back... what could it be? OOC: C'mon, Erik, make him NOT get caught. DO IT DO IT DO IT *shot* Team-

Or get hurt? It was a no brainer really, but even as the black electricity crackled, the guy hestitated in launching his knock out attack on the burly man. His blue eyes widened when Mordred flew at the guy, but that wide eyes opened even more when a flash of black later, saw Lydian pinning the guy on the ground.
It only took less then a second for Erik to recognize that his companion was dangerously close to losing control though, and with a panicked gaze at the growing interest from the market crowd a little ways off, Erik squeaked and hurried over to grab Lydian's arm, tugging at him to warn him. "Don't. Its not worth it." he murmured, curling himself against Lydian's side, almost willing Lydian to calm down. "I'm fine, see? Now let's go. C'mon Lydi, let's go." Erik coaxed, ignoring whatever protests the elder guy gave as he tugged at his arm again and shooting a warning glare when the guy being pinned to the ground protested. What, did he not have a survival streak in him? Lydian was about to turn him in to human steak if he didn't shut up!
Pulling at Lydian until they were nearer to the forest edge and away from the main eye of the market, it was only then did Erik finally let up on his yanking and firm hold on Lydian, and turned around to give Lydian a sheepish look. "Sorry. Wandering away is a bad habit I have it seems." he apologized, and blushed when his Pidgey landed on his shoulder, and chirped in agreement. Oh the amount of times Atlanta had had to help him out of a fix because he couldn't find his way, the Pidgey didn't know.

Lydian let out a snarl when he felt the tug on his arm, wheeling angrily only to immediately melt when he saw that single sapphire eye. Erik. That was why he had come out here, and that was why he had reacted as fiercely as he did. Erik was in danger, and his instincts would accept no limits in what he had to do to make Erik safe. He began claming down when he felt Erik's body pressing against him, leaning down to gently sniff him a few times to settle his instincts. Erik was safe. He was fine. And then he felt himself being yanked off, and he whined even as he let Erik pull him away from the man, who earned a threatening glare when he spoke up again. He would have happily roasted the man to a crisp if it hadn't been for the small hands around his arm. Erik didn't want him to attack, so... he wouldn't. His instincts would not pull the trigger no matter how badly he wanted to. When they were away from the market and the crowd, Lydian began to relax a little, though when Erik's hands loosened, Delphi appeared to stand between him and the market, a silent warning not to go back and look for that guy. He glared at her, growling softly, before he turned his gaze to Erik and relaxed a little when he saw the single sapphire eye. "Erik..." he murmured softly, a whine in his voice like that of a dog, "do you have any idea how close I was to burning the market down? My instincts couldn't find you and they weren't going to rest until they did." OOC: I don't even know anymore. Team-

But Erik was not about to let that guy get his lesson by putting Lydian at risk of getting discovered as an illegal Gijinka, and he wasted no time in dragging Lydian away, thanking his stars that at the very least, the elder male put up no protest.
Giving a small grin of appreciation at Delphi, Erik turned to Lydian again when he spoke, and bit his lip. "I'm sorry, I just... I tend to wander off." he murmured, and glared when his Pidgey chirped up in agreement. Pulling out her pokeball to call Atlanta back in to avoid anymore agreement with his attempts at wandering, Erik turned back, and then hesitantly tugged at the edges of Lydian's shirt. "I'll try not to do that again?"
He paused, and then pursed his lips. "You have to stop trying to burn people at the drop of the hat though. You're gonna risk capture one day." he warned, frowning at the thought. Erik didn't like the idea that Lydian might be taken away, didn't like it at all.
