The glistening moon was high within the sky, it was Valko's favourite time, a time where it was easier for him to sneak away without the hatred of the humans following him wherever he tread as most of them tended to be either at home or the few that were out couldn't see him due to him sitting under a dark tree near one of the far corners of the park. His faithful and mischievous companion, a Vulpix, that he was still yet to name was laying down next to him curled up in a ball and sleeping softly. Valko was constantly on alert, even at night, he didn't really want to be seen, his seating position, comparable to that of a canine sitting giving away that he was a gijinka would cause him nothing but trouble when all he wanted to do was relax. He reached his hand over to his Vulpix and pet him gently behind the ears. "I-I'll think of a n-name for you eventually buddy y-you can count on th-that." The Vulpix yawned and flipped over onto its back as Valko began to scratch it. Deciding that it was safe he decided that he himself should probably rest his eyes as well. Taking one last look at his surroundings before laying down and shutting his eyes.

Noah knew that he was knock-down, pitch-black, "You-are-going-to-die-in-a-ditch-one-day" drunk. He had an okay head for alcohol... but after four beers, his judgment tended to take a turn for the worse. In the terms of many of his friends and previous flings, his party was only just getting started. In his, however... he'd gone too far. Again. Sighing as he stumbled slightly over a stray root, he paused, putting a hand on the trunk so that he could take a moment to empty his stomach of maybe... three-quarters of the beer he'd filched from that nightclub. He knew he was really too young to be drinking and partying like he was... but damn it all, those guys had been buying him one drink after another! Dancing and showing off his fine ass required liquid to wet his throat! It wasn't his fault everyone liked buying him alcohol! Or at least, that was the justification in his mind. He knew he was out of control. He had told himself he was going to try to quit. Well, looks like THAT idea was down the drain. He sighed when he felt a little weight on his head, knowing the source well. " I know, Mon, I know," he sighed, well aware that the Litwick loved to sit on his head. Monument was, in a sense, Noah's conscience, always there to pick him up when he was shattered in a bottle of smoke. Feeling a deal steadier now that a lot of the alcohol wasn't in his system, he continued through the park, heading towards his apartment. Curling up and sleeping in a bed would be nice right now, even if it was the crappy one in his apartment. It'd give him a chance to hopefully sleep through the hangover and then figure out what he was going to do about his problems. OOC: *cough* I would like to say right here that I do not encourage smoking, drinking, wild partying, noncommitment, and underage drinking. It's just who Noah is as a CHARACTER that makes him so interesting to play. Don't follow his example. Team- Monument

Valko awoke at first to his Vulpix pawing him on the face, but he was then fully awakened when he thought he heard something come from nearby. "W-What was that? I-I think I heard something coming fr-from over there..." He whispered to his Vulpix as if it was slightly comforting. Far too timid to actually look for the source of the noise but also too frightened to stay where he was he picked up the Vulpix and placed it on his shoulder carefully so that it would not fall off and then stood himself up, he decided his best bet would be to sneak off and try and avoid whatever was making the irritable and loud noises. Valko, having poor eyesight mixed in with the enveloping darkness of the night managed to walk himself straight into anther tree nearby causing him to, louder than usual exclaim two words “Ah cr-crap!” He quickly cupped his hand over his mouth, hoping that he wasn't too loud as to draw whatever it was he was trying to escape from's attention. He didn't know if the dark was playing tricks on his eyes or if it was actually a person, but in his field of vision he could just make out the blurry outline of something heading his way, it was stumbling a lot too. Cuddling up to his Vulpix and shaking more than normal he just sat where he was, frozen by fear.

Monument settled himself more firmly on Noah's head, likely a smart move on his part. Noah was stumbling a little - not as much as before, mind you, he didn't have as bad of a head for liquor as someone might think he did, especially in comparison to some of his (mostly older) friends - and as such, his head was likely the safest place for the little Litwick to remain for the moment. Not that Monument ever needed encouraging on that part of the deal, Noah's head was one of his favorite places to perch, closely followed by the light-bulb of the lamp in the main room that he had exploded; Noah had had to remove the remains of the glass and then unplug the thing to keep his Pokemon safe, but Monument was delighted with the prospect. He was very delighted with the fact that Noah had conceded to him a throne to rule over all that he saw, including Noah and his furniture. Sure, he may not have any other subjects, but that was okay. He'd have subjects one day. He just had to be patient in the meantime, Noah would have to do. The Ghost-Type Gijinka blinked at the sound of an exclamation nearby. His brow furrowing in confusion as he gently strode forward, he slowly made out a quivering male with soft blond hair and a Vulpix in his arms. " Hey," he murmured softly, making sure to try to make his voice sound soothingly calm, unthreatening, " are you okay? I heard you cry out earlier... That was you, right?" Noah was quite the mischievous soul when he wanted to be, but even he had his limits. Someone cowering before they'd even met him certainly fell well within those limits. Even Monument on his head was stirring, peering at the newcomer curiously though keeping quiet, as per usual. Despite his raging desire to rule the world from above, Monument was actually a pretty shy Pokemon. Go figure. OOC: ... Yurtle the turtle reference FOR THE WIN. Team- Monument

As the figure got closer and closer Valko started to shake more violently. By the time the figure was in full view in front of him his Vulpix had jumped out from his arms and stood defensively before him. As whomever it was tried to communicate with him, he decided there was no way out of this. "I-I-It's okay V-Vulpix, c-come here." The Vulpix padded back over to its owner and rested in his arms before Valko slowly stood up and got a better look at the stranger. "Y-yeah that was m-me.. I-I-I uh yeah... I-I'm okay, I su-suppose, who a-are you anyway?" Though still shaking violently as his Vulpix tried to calm him down whilst occasionally glaring back at the stranger to make sure he didn't try any funny business. Upon closer inspection Valko came to the conclusion that whomever it was that was standing before him must be drunk, his sense smell, enhanced by his transfusion allowed him to smell the alcohol on the stranger's breath. This caused him to shake even more violent, he was terrified that whoever this person was, he could snap just like that and harm him and Valko really didn't want to get into a fight. He tightened his hold on his Vulpix as he awaited a response.

Noah couldn't help chuckling at how adorable the shaking and the quivering was. He was a lover, not a fighter, though he'd fight for what he believed in. Or against Pokemon. Or when someone he liked had been wronged. Hrm. Maybe that wasn't such a correct sequence of words to associate with him after all. Still, he certainly wasn't going to hurt this adorable male or his Vulpix. Out of all the other Pokemon types - Ghost being discluded since he already was one - Noah had a certain weakness for Fire-Type Pokemon. In his experience, they were faithful companions who would go to any lengths to protect their Trainers. Or maybe it was just the ones he'd met, like Monument and this adorable Vulpix. Eh, he just liked Fire-Types. He wasn't going to devote any more thought to the matter than that. He reached one hand up to scratch his head, ignoring Monument's quiet complaints at the slight moving of his perch. " That's good that you're okay," he murmured softly, a little smile dancing across his lips before it was wiped away with his next words, " After all, you're a little too cute to really fight back if you were, no offense or anything." Something was nagging at him about this male, something important, but Noah couldn't think about what it was. His brow furrowed slightly as he tried to concentrate past the slight haze in his mind. What was it about this person that he wanted to do? What what what what what? Ah well, what he couldn't remember couldn't hurt him, right? " My name is Noah. Noah Kyo. If I may ask, what is yours?" Monument was peeking over the edge of Noah's head now, curious. Noah was usually quite the playful trickster, so when he was being soft, that usually meant he was around someone who startled easily, and the last time that had happened, he'd had to step in to stop that stupid Quilava Gijinka from burning his Trainer. Honestly, sometimes Noah was more trouble than he was worth, but Monument loved him anyway. It was a ruler's duty to love his subjects, after all, and Monument was nothing short of a good one. OOC: ... I love Monument's delusions of grandeur. He's such a cute little Pokemon, XD. Also, I hope just the general "randomness" of the thought train helps give an illusion of drunk, but he's not TOO badly drunk. He's just a little tipsy right now. Team- Monument

Even the seemingly friendly manner in which the stranger, now identified as Noah was speaking didn't completely convince Valko that he was safe. Also, he had never been complimented before, at least not by someone outside of his immediate family and he had no idea how he should react about Noah saying he was "cute". He decided to just shake it off and decided to actually respond. "I-I'm Valko, V-Valko Fenris, and to be h-honest I probably wouldn't o-of fought back because... Eh, t-that's not important." Not really knowing what else to say due to his lack of experience with social contact with strangers he added "N-nice to meet y-you." The Vulpix jumped out from his arms and walked up slowly towards Noah and sniffed at him then looked up at the Litwick atop his head, then looked at Valko's own head thinking he'd try sit up there one day. Feeling only a slight less terrified and a whole lot of awkward Valko decided to speak up, against his will. "S-so what brings you o-out here?" It was general curiosity that brought that question out, he didn't even know why he brought it up and Arceus knows he doesn't want to get backed into a corner where he reveals that he's a gijinka infused with the DNA of an Arcanine, if that came out and this was a person who hated gijinka, he'd be in mighty big trouble but something about this person made him feel a little bit more relaxed now that he had introduced himself.

" Valko..." Noah murmured, tapping his chin contemplatively before he grinned childishly. " I like it, it suits you." He raised his hand up, a single finger extended bravely to lance into the sky, and then he paused, brow furrowing as he tried to remember why he did that. Usually he had a reason for things... but lately he couldn't remember anything when he really needed to. To be honest, it was annoying. Noah needed his mind in perfect working condition, thank you very much! He needed to be able to think to have a good time, after all. Most girls - and the cute boys who were willing to let him sleep with them - liked him able to remember how to remove clothes. Monument, however, took the opportunity to stare down at the Vulpix who had come to sniff at his loyal subject number one. He was curious as to this new Pokemon, and what he wanted with Noah. Noah was his property, his second-best throne, and he deserved to be treated with the dignity that afforded him! His little flame started to puff up a little before he realized that the Vulpix had his own throne in the strange-auraed person before them. Monument just accepted that and hunkered back down again, deciding that he, as a ruler, had more important things to do than investigate strange things. That was what he had Noah for, after all. Noah blinked at the question, casting his mind back to the matter. Why was he out again? " Um... a friend of mine was having an eighteenth birthday, and they wanted me to come... apparently I'm wicked with party tricks, though that's what you get when you're someone like me." He felt a sneeze coming and didn't fight it, his whole body rocking with the sudden movement which revealed a very strange anomaly that anyone who didn't know what he was would find downright disturbing. A pair of shadowy arms rocked out of his body, coming forward to form a circle before they disappeared into his chest again; he was just lucky that there didn't seem to be anyone dead around, otherwise he'd have to deal with being able to see their spirits and maybe even bring them to "life" with his powers. OOC: Bleh, crappy computer. Not gonna make this any longer right now. I just hope this is good enough for you... Team- Monument

Valko listened as Noah explained why he was out so late, he'd been to a party, so that explained the scent of alcohol he could smell on his breath. The sound which was a bit more amplified to Valko's enhanced hearing made him jump slightly. He also could of sworn he saw something, like long hands coming out of Noah after he sneezed causing him to back up against the tree he had run into earlier, he slowly slid himself into a seated position, after all he could think best like this. His canine-esque manner of sitting hopefully made less obvious in the dark. Did he really see what he thought he saw? Or were his eyes and brain working together to try and terrify him? Whether that was the case or not he certainly felt more afraid than he did before. His Vulpix noting his master's fear increasing went back over to Noah walking around him and sniffing again to make sure he didn't miss a scent, though nothing seemed out of the ordinary. The Vulpix padded back over to Valko and tried comforting him some more it seemed to work, if only slightly as Valko scratched behind the Vulpix's ears. Deciding he may as well take a shot he asked. "U-uh.. Did I j-just see... Uh... Hands of s-some sort a-after you sneezed?"

Noah closed his eyes, sensing something was off. He cocked his head to the side, swaying slightly from side to side as he tried to tune in to the spirit residing inside him, the entity of the Cofagrigus that he had taken inside of of him. ' What is it, Cofagrigus?' he called out inside his head, ' Cofagrigus, what are you trying to tell me?' He tried to focus hard, tune himself into that Pokemon inside him, but it was hard when the drink was obscuring his senses. Usually that was a good thing, it kept him from being distracted by many of the departed souls who could not find rest, but right now... Now he wished he hadn't had quite so much to drink. Something was tickling at him, and he couldn't remember what it was, and he couldn't remember what it was so long as this haze muddled up his thoughts. " Yeah, you saw hands," he answered quietly, looking at the male cowering under the tree... in such a strange position? Where had he seen that seating position before? His brow furrowed and he tried to remember even as he continued. " I'm one of those... how would you say it? I'm a Gijinka." Monument glared at him darkly, floating about his head and puffing out his flame to no avail. He did not like that his perch had knocked him off, did not like it at all. When he realized that Noah wasn't paying attention to him, however, he just huffed, his flame flaring for a moment before he floated over to the other male, settling on his head instead. It was not his favorite perch... but it would do for now. OOC: ... Valko is Mon's new throne! XD Team- Monument

So Noah was also a gijinka, Valko tried to mull over in his mind what Pokemon had arms like those and then it hit him, theyy were the arms of a Cofagrigus. Which also meant "Y-you're a C-Cofagrigus gijinka? W-what have you g-got the taste for flesh now? I-If I recall C-Cofagrigus ate peo-" Valko was interrupted by the Litwick floating over and landing on his head, he shook his head a few times trying to get the little Pokemon off of his head. The Vulpix caught eye of this and whiffed out an ember at the Litwick it missed and hit Valko in the chest. Jumping up quickly, though not really feeling much thanks to the Arcanine DNA that had been infused within him he patted at his chest with his hands to make the flames disappear leaving a small burn hole in his shirt. "Y-you really n-need to work on y-your aim Vulpix." For a moment he almost forgot to explain to Noah that he himself was also a gijinka. "O-oh also I m-myself am a... Gi-gijinka, I w-was infused with A-Arcanine DNA after I h-had gotten si-sick." He shivered slightly after remembering how bad it felt to be sick but quickly tossed the thought aside, he looked down at the Vulpix sitting at his feet and threw a treat down at it and watch as it happily took the treat and ate it.

" A taste for flesh?" Noah chuckled, a wide smile lighting up his face. " No no no no no, Cofagriguses are very well-behaved! We often would be entombed at the sides of kings to protect them from intruders and thieves! We got that reputation because the thieves were angry that we had prevented them from taking the precious treasures that did not rightfully belong to them. We aren't cruel, and not to mention that we're incredibly loyal even past the boundaries of death." Monument let out a little happy coo, delighted with the ride the other was giving him. It was fun for him to cling to the male's head and wave for a long while. Noah never played with him like this! That was it! This was his new second favorite throne! Noah was being bumped down to third. As much as Mon loved him... he wasn't nearly as entertaining for a ruler to remain on. Noah blinked when he saw the Vulpix blow an Ember at Valko, and Valko didn't really do a whole lot or seem overly concerned by the flames licking at him. He then nodded to himself at the explanation of Valko being a Gijinka. It made so much sense now! That was what he was supposed to be figuring out, if Valko was a Gijinka like him or not! He grinned in delighted triumph. " I didn't get sick... I'm not even technically legal, not that a lot of what I do is legal, but it wasn't my choice. I got taken and well... some young moron wanted to test his Cofagrigus DNA and his own abilities on someone. Unfortunately, that someone was me. Fortunately, when they went to kill me and take the DNA back, I managed to knock them back and escape." Noah felt thoroughly drunk now. It would probably be a good idea for him to go home now and curl up on a bed before he did something that would get him killed. Now... which way was home again? OOC: ... Mon... is now my favorite Pokemon. Ever. Team- Monument

Valko waited patiently as Noah explained how he became a gijinka, he'd heard of people becoming them illegally but he thought that was just rumour and that the only way was through Epispect. "W-Well... I'm g-glad to hear you m-made it out." Two gijinkas in one spot if anybody was searching for them they'd of hit the jackpot, Valko did a quick survey of the park, not that his eyesight would of really helped, but it would at least calm him down somewhat to know that there wasn't anybody that was going to try hurt them in the immediate area. His Vulpix saw what he was doing and mimicked his owner's action. "O-Oh I haven't i-introduced this little guy h-here properly yet... H-He's just called V-Vulpix... I ha-haven't been able to come up w-with a name for him y-yet." He held the Vulpix closer towards Noah so that he could get a better look at him. At that moment Valko looked closer at Noah and could tell he was searching for something, or trying to remember something. "H-hey have you l-lost or f-forgotten something? Y-you look like you're s-searching for something."

Noah nodded absently at Valko's words, though he didn't have idea what to say to it. He probably wouldn't have known what to say in any case, but well... since he was drunk, he decided to chalk it up to his current intoxication rather than any failure of knowing how to communicate in a non-flirtatious manner on his part. He still trying to figure out which way was home. It was almost funny, he had been so certain of such things earlier, before he'd emptied the contents of his stomach, than he did now, after the fact. It was almost enough to make him wish Cofagriguses had a homing device in them or that kind of weird-ass telepathy shit that let them be able to navigate thousands of miles but always know where to return to. It would serve him so well in such situations, where he was drunk off his ass - yeah, he was just gonna give up and admit it, no matter what he'd told his friends, he was probably a tad more intoxicated than the "tipsy" he'd assured his friends of being when he'd left the nightclub - and had no real idea how to get back home. He stopped, though, when he heard Valko speak again, turning his attention towards him to look at the little Vulpix. " He's cute," Noah declared after a moment of inspection, smiling. " Oddly enough, he suits you." He then indicated Valko with a wave of his hand, mainly towards his head. "And you've more or less met Monument there." He tried to death glare the little dual type down to no avail, mainly because he was interrupted with a yawn in the middle of it, and it was damn hard to keep a commanding persona when you were yawning widely. "Huh? Oh, not really, I just seem to have temporarily misplaced the memory of what direction is the one in which I live," he answered nonchalantly, shrugging. It was a fairly normal occurrence in that he was used to it, though it hadn't hadn't happened for a few months now. He'd figure it out... eventually.

"Y-You managed to f-forget where you live? H-How many drinks have you h-had?" For the first time in a while Valko managed to form a chuckle, it was weak, but a chuckle none the less. Valko was getting sick of the dark so he pulled out one of his Pokeballs and tossed it at the ground revealing his Pikachu. The Pikachu looked a bit confused as to where it was but as it got its bearings it noticed his trainer and happily ran over to his side. Valko pet the little yellow Pokemon and asked it to create a bit of light, nodding its head the Pikachu made sparks with its cheeks to create a dim light, even with light that faint it made it much better for Valko to see. He focused his attention back towards Noah who was now a fair bit more visible thanks to the Pikachu created light. "S-so.. do you n-need any help finding h-home? I'm sure V-Vulpix, Pikachu and I c-can help, if not we c-could at least keep you company until y-you find you bearings." For the first time in his entire life, Valko was actually enjoying the company of someone that wasn't a part of his immediate family, he tried so hard to avoid people, but even he knew something like this would happen sooner or later, it just meant next time he met someone else, he'd have to be more careful, after all he didn't want to get to know too many people.
