Words;; 755 Tags;; Open Eggs;; None Layout by Kuroya Notes;; Okay, first off, wrote this entirely by hand and then transcribed later, so I apologize for the lack of a proper description. Her bikini looks sorta like this, just for reference. Also, feel free to annoy her and/or take her bag and stuff. Posts will likely not be this long ever again. *shot*
Isabelle arched her back, stretching and letting out a content little sigh when she heard something crack. It had taken a few days for her to get over the mountains, and her backpack was considerably lighter than it was when she had set out, but she had wanted to go to the beach. The fact that the shore was so far away never occurred to her, an unfortunate by-product of not having a Pokemon that knew Fly yet. One day she hoped Lygone, her beautiful blue-green Trapinch, would evolve to a big bad Flygon and be able to take people down, but in the meantime, she'd just have to make do with her own two feet. The sound of the water crashing against the rocks was a soothing one, something that urged her to trot just a tad faster, held back from breaking out into a run by her own exhaustion. Without pausing in her step, she fumbled through a pocket on the side of the sturdy black backpack she'd borrowed from her brother's hall closet, pulling out a folded piece of paper covered in marks and scratches in an untidy scrawl. Just because she could picture that old cove where she and Perceus would goof around in a few times back when they were younger didn't mean that she still remembered how to get there right off the top of her head. Grinning as she flipped the map shut, folding it back up over the worn creases, and put it back away again, she skipped about a few more curves in the current path before climbing up a rock wall, wincing when the sharper edge of a handhold cut her middle left knuckle, drawing blood. She swung a leg up onto the higher ledge, huffing and wriggling a little in protest of the twinge in her calf from the stretch - when she'd be younger, Percy would climb up first and then lift her to sit on the edge so she wouldn't have to scrape herself trying to clamber up something a little too big for her to throw a leg over the side like she had now - but with a little bit of effort, she managed to haul herself up over the lip. From here, the path was obvious, so she thought nothing of slinging the pack down on the ledge along with her daggers, not wanting to ruin the blades or supplies with an impromptu saltwater bath. Before she abandoned the bag temporarily, she rummaged around in the side pockets, putting her extra Pokeballs in there since she highly doubted she'd run into any wilds worth catching. If memory served, most of the Pokemon dwelling a little further down were actually all extremely young since her destination was actually a good place to raise newly-hatched babies that weren't ready for a battle with a tougher opponent than their siblings quite yet. After that, it only took a moment to change into her bikini and flip-flops, the Nidorina Gijinka managing to tie the knot holding the top together with her teeth. Leaving her long teal hair up in the twin ponytails so it would be easier to comb the knots out of later, she carefully made her way down the winding trail to reach the small cove, pausing in the opening to press two fingers to her lips before brushing them against a pair of initials, PB and IB, carved into the rock, an old tradition she'd carried on with each subsequent visit. As soon as that was done, however, the teenager grinned mischievously and tossed her Pokeballs into the air, where they spun before letting out a Gible, an oddly-colored Trapinch, and a Deino. "All right, Archo, Lygone, there's a berry grove somewhere nearby and a bunch of sand for you both to play in so you don't have to get wet. Just don't go bothering the other 'mon here - I mean it Archo!" She knew that gleam in the Gible's eye; it usually heralded trouble, and she wasn't in the mood to put up with his antics today. "No bothering the other Pokemon!" After cyan orbs bore into the dual type like a lance for a prolonged moment, she bent over and scooped Hyde up into her arms, padding off towards the water. Hopefully he'd stay in line, and if not, Lygone would be able to handle him. She'd come out for a day of fun, and dammit, she'd get it if it was the last thing she did!

[atrb=border,0,true] | | Words 1,007 | Music Link | | Notes | | Tag Isabelle | | I hope you don't mind me jumping in @_@ I also need to work on describing clothes in posts |: Just assume she's wearing a jacket and hiking stuff, nothing real fancy. | Kiran couldn't really recall what had caused the sudden urge to go out adventuring. In the time that had passed since she had become a Gijinka, she had always felt the need to just get away from the city sometimes. It had been odd at first, she remembered. Before, Kiran had only left the city and escaped to the wilderness to escape the wrath of her parents, and it was never too far from civilization. If she ever ran into a Pokémon, it had always been easy to run to the populated areas to escape the more violent wilds. Ever since that day, though, she had felt the need to be away from people. Why that urge had called her to the beach, one of the furthest places away from the city that she knew about, she had no clue. She had only made it out this far once before, shortly after she had found out her sister had passed. The memories of her sister didn't escape her. They played across her vision as she stared up at the sky, blocking her vision of it. For once, the normally overzealous girl seemed melancholy, what with being so clearly lost in thought. Her focus was entirely stolen by the train of thought, causing a small bit of anger to stir under her skin. She shifted slightly, crossing her legs as she lay on the ground, hands folded under her head, as she stared up at the sky. Her sister would've loved the spot, she mused. She could hear the waves crashing on the shore, creating a soothing background static that could wash away all the worries of the world if one allowed it to. The air held none of the pollutants of the city, either. It felt so easy to breathe once you left the city. A small, sad smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. Oh, how she wished her sister could have been there with her. She could've, Kiran mused, had she not rushed her off to her death.
The thought struck like a dagger, but it was nothing that hadn't already crossed her mind that day.
Shaking the feeling off, the Purrloin Gijinka pushed herself up to a sitting position. Stretching the sleepiness from her limbs, she crossed her legs and took a look about her. She could see the ocean in the distance, a stark blue against the green and gray of the rocks and ledges about her. It had taken her days to reach this point, and her mind briefly drifted back to the city. She would probably have a job waiting for her when she got back. That sad reminder of reality didn't lighten her mood any. Frowning, Kiran shook her head to try and force the thought from her head. She wouldn't worry about work out here, she reminded herself. As though the first thirty times she had repeated that reminder during the duration of her trip had worked so well to shake the dread that was slowly building up in the back of her mind.
Completely drawn in by her thoughts, she did not notice the two Pokémon barreling towards her at a rather fast pace. The realization quite literally hit her when they collided with her lap, tumbling forward into it. Blinking in surprise, she watched as the Vulpix and Growlithe jumped off her lap in the next moment to continue play-wrestling with one another. Chuckling at their antics, Kiran tried to push her troubles to the back of her mind. She was out here to relax, she reminded herself, not to dwell on the very things she meant to escape from. "Come on you two, cut it out." Kiran said in a chiding tone. The two Pokémon stopped in their playing, flopping over on their stomachs on the ground and panting as they turned to look up at her. She gave them a bemused smile, one that quickly faded.
A sound drew her eyes to the ocean. It was faint, but she had been listening to the crashing of the waves for hours, and it was a sudden change in the rhythm of the waves. Without giving it another thought, Kiran shrugged on her pack and stood up. "Oh no you don't." Her eyes turned back to her two small Pokémon as they stood up, the Growlithe already taking a few steps to chase after the direction that the sound had originated, no doubt hearing it too. Grabbing the Pokéball for the energetic Pokémon, she quickly recalled him before he could get himself into any trouble. Walking to where Avaia sat, she bent down and collected the Vulpix in her arms, and then started toward the source of the sound. It didn't take her long to reach the edge of the small cliff that overlooked the beach. Kiran had expected to see some sort of Pokémon that was creating a disruption; so it was startling to see what appeared to be a trainer heading down to the water's edge. She didn't expect to see anyone on her trip. The last person she had seen had been long before she had reached the mountains, even. What were the odds that she'd run into someone all the way out here?
Shrugging off the suspicions that started to form in the back of her mind, Kiran tightened her hold on the small Pokémon in her arms and hopped down off the small cliff. "Hey!" she called out to the girl, a grin forming on her face. "Didn't expect to see anyone else out here!" she continued, kneeling down to set Avaia on the ground. Straightening up, she started to walk toward the stranger, arms folded behind her back, and Avaia following right on her heels. "What brings you all the way out here?" Lowering her voice a little as she neared the girl, her smile did not fade in the least. There seemed to be no sign of pensive Gijinka that, only minutes before, had been as clear as day.

Words;; 672 Tags;; Open Eggs;; None Layout by Kuroya Notes;; Izzy's quite a demanding person >.>' She's all huffy and tends to throw punches first and ask questions later... not to mention that she has a tendency of biting off more than she can chew. Fiesty little Nidorina girl. Her bikini looks sorta like this, just for reference.
Isabelle could feel the body in her arms sagging as the Deino there embarked upon another one of his inner monologues about how nobody would understand the pain he feels inside, and she huffed, bristling up a little. She always hated when he get like this, and she wasn't going to stand for it on her day at the beach. Carrying him over to the water, she waded until she found a good spot where the waves were hitting against her stomach and the ocean floor beneath her bare feet was nothing but sand long ago worn smooth by the constant movement of the liquid above the fragments of shells. Once she was fairly certain that the fall wouldn't hurt the young dual type, she dropped him into the water to break his train of thoughts, the dragon flailing his limbs for a minute or two in alarm beneath the surface before he managed to get his bearings again and wriggled his legs in an undignified doggy paddle to get back to the surface, glaring at her. She just stuck her tongue out at him. "Should've thought about that before you started moping," she informed him primly, one hand coming down to press onto a cocked hip. The Deino grumbled and started muttering under his breath, and her expression soured as she leaned down and pushed him under again with one swift movement of a hand with bright blue nails adorned with chipping polish, though she was careful not to keep her hand there. She didn't want to drown her own Pokemon after all.
Her head shot up when she heard a voice, her blood running cold. She'd thought that Perseus had kept the location of their little part of the coast secret, but obviously someone else had found it. She resisted the urge to let loose a string of curses when she realized that both of her knives - her equivalent of a Nidorina's poison barbs - were back up on the cliff with her extra Pokeballs. Instead, she whistled loudly to get Archo and Lygone out from the berry patch, the two Ground-types darting out and closer to the water with the latter mildly confused while the former looked fired up, ready for some action. The Nidorina Gijinka herself scooped up Hyde into her arms and waded back to the beach, mentally setting herself in a defensive posture. She had heard rumors about an organization known as Team Rocket working to try to bring down Epispect, and even if she wasn't allowed to go out on missions because of her age, she doubted that such a fact would be overlooked if any of them caught her and thought that she held any useful information. Once she was back on shore, she set Hyde down to free her hands, knowing that if push came to shove, she could always fight her way out and make a run for it back to civilization; not that she wanted to, of course, she'd much rather have the chance to drag one of them back to Epispect to prove that she wasn't a complete waste. "Hey," she greeted, a little more wary as she examined the other girl up and down. "Came out for a swim. Water's nice this time of year." She could feel the salt water dripping down her leg from the skirt part of her bathing suit and vaguely hoped that it wouldn't interfere with a fight if she had to have one. With herself, Archo, Hyde, and Lygone, she didn't think they would fare too badly against the other girl and her Vulpix... the odds were certainly more in her favor than they were when she'd try to train against a Tyranitar hologram back at Epispect anyway.
She could handle this. She was a Black. "And what are you doing out here yourself, I thought this was a closed-off part of the coast?" she demanded, cocking her hip and putting one hand on it. "And how did you find this place?"

[atrb=border,0,true] | | Words 819 | Music Link | | Notes | | Tag Isabelle | | She's fine~ Kiran just sees it as a challenge |: did I forget to mention that she likes to talk a lot? Also, I apologize. I have a headache so I'm not completely sure on the quality of this @_@; | Kiran stopped walking when the girl whistled, her smile faltering for a moment as she looked out about the beach. Were... there other people here? Was this some sort of ambush, and this girl the bait? It certainly wouldn't be the first time she had encountered that tactic, and she had even used it once or twice in order to distract the victims of her theft. She relaxed a little when she saw Pokémon responding to the girl's call, and not five or six men in black suits (though why they would be this far from the city and in black suits, she had no clue). Turning her eyes back to the girl, her smile returned as vibrant as ever, even holding her signature playful twist to it. She could feel the girl's eyes searching her for something that Kiran wasn't entirely sure what for. It didn't faze her, and she didn't miss a beat as she impatiently leaned back on her heels, leaning her torso forward to compensate the change in the center of gravity. Shoving her hands in to the pockets of her jeans, she shrugged off the air of suspicion that the girl was giving off.
Kiran didn't change in posture when the girl spoke, or when she started demanding answers. Instead, she waited for her to finish with her questions, and then chuckled at the girl. "I wouldn't know about the swimming. I'm not much a fan of water." she said, her laughing tone showing just how (un)seriously she was taking the situation at hand. It would take more than that to cause her to react defensively, she mused. A grin spreading across her face as she straightened her posture, she pondered the girl's questions. "I didn't know anything was 'closed' out here. I mean-it is the outside; being all wide open, and such." She chuckled as she spoke, her grin fading slightly as she gave the girl a look that was about as serious as Kiran got in such a mood. "Joking aside, I traveled out here a few years ago. Decided to take the trip again to clear out my head. The ocean is relaxing to listen to; not something you get in the city." she said, shrugging nonchalantly. "What has your feathers all ruffled?" Kiran asked, leaning to one side, her hair swaying from the motion. "It's a shame to be in such a uproar in such a peaceful place. I certainly have no ulterior motive that I am aware of, so. Why not relax?" She asked, her eyes sparking with a light of playfulness. "I know a defensive posture when I see one. You'll give yourself a headache from all that stressful emotion if you don't chill." she added in a sing-song, chiding tone. Her grin faded into a smug smile as she straightened up, taking her hands out of her pockets to fold them behind her head in a sort of makeshift pillow.
Completely relaxed, Kiran made a point to show that she had no intention of attacking the girl... and it was true, for the most part. Kiran didn't like fighting, but as awkwardly as she held herself, it was as much a defensive measure as she would take. Kiran wasn't a trusting person, and she certainly didn't trust this stranger. Living in the slums for most of her life, she knew what it looked like when someone was fighting mad; and this girl was just a few steps away from that, in Kiran's opinion. If the girl was looking for a fight, Kiran certainly wasn't going to back down from it. Whatever the girl had against her, she didn't care. The Purrloin Gijinka didn't understand the idea of giving up and backing down, and she certainly wasn't about to start now. Though the question still stood; why was this girl so defensive in the first place?
The moment Kiran had stopped walking; Avaia had run into the back of her leg. The small Vulpix had stumbled back, shaking her head from the shock of the sudden collision. Kiran hadn't paid her any mind, since it wasn't like she had barreled into a rock or something, but it was enough to cause the small Vulpix to sit down and pout at her feet. The little Pokémon knew better than to interrupt her trainer, and instead had taken up the hobby of looking at the other Pokémon that the stranger had summoned. Sniffing the air, it only took a few moments for Avaia to give up on trying to find out what sort of Pokémon they were. Yawning, the Pokémon curled up and lay down, leaning against Kiran's foot. Seemingly oblivious to the tensions that soaked the air like fresh dew in the morning, she seemed perfectly content with taking a nap. With a twitch of an ear, the Vulpix showed just how interested she was in the whole thing.

Isabelle could tell that the other girl was bigger than she was, and the thought made her almost want to huff aloud. She wasn't small! She was built sturdy enough to do what she had to, and besides, Nidorinas weren't heavy or stocky either! Besides, it wasn't as if it mattered much - the Epispect agent had more than enough fight in her to turn the odds in her favor, especially since she could very well poison the other girl with the toxins that seeped out of her very pores when she felt threatened, an instinctual response and a protective measure given to her by the transfusion she had received when she'd joined the company. Her cyan eyes looked the other female up and down, assessing her for a moment before tossing the idea aside: She liked her girls with short, light hair. "I like water," she stated, shifting her weight to make her hip cock out to the side, unaware that the action highlighted the fact that her hair randomly darkened right there around her hip because of the salt water. "Why else would you come down to the beach anyway?" She then sniffed, lifting her head with a huff as she crossed her arms, eyes shutting to make herself look more righteous as she added, "This spot is a secret cove me and my brother claimed when we were kids, so ha! It's all ours whether you like it or not!" She then turned and cracked one eye to look at the other girl. "You interrupted my day off! I was going to teach Hyde how to swim and then go pick some berries with Archo and Lygone! And maybe even find some new Pokemon on the way back! But now I can't because you ruined my day off." She huffed and plopped down on the ground melodramatically, arms and legs crossed as she glared at the other. "And I can stress out if I want to, you're not the boss of me. The only one who can tell me what to do is Perseus!"
Archo and Lygone looked back and forth between the two girls before the latter sighed and padded over to his Trainer. The small off-color Trapinch clambered into the Nidorina Gijinka's lap, resting his head on her knee quietly as he looked at the other girl, observing her with his eyes as he weighed the potential danger that she could pose. He didn't think that she looked dangerous really, not when she had that Vulpix falling asleep using her foot as a pillow, but that was just his opinion. Hyde followed Lygone's example, only the little Deino sprawled himself in her lap, already monologuing about how his life was horrible and no one would ever understand the pain he felt inside. There wasn't much hope for him, so really, the Trapinch didn't bother to even try to correct him. Instead, he kept his gaze focused on Archo, who was slowly creeping towards the sleeping Fire-type. The Gible had always had rather questionable tastes when it came to "having fun" and was a handful even for the spunky Nidorina Gijinka to handle. Even now he was slowly creeping towards the Vulpix, a mischievous gleam in his eyes, and the blue-haired girl had to whistle again with a huff. "Archo, knock it off!" she huffed, glaring at her Pokemon. "C'mere." The dual type huffed and then made a break for it. "Archo!" she yelled, scrambling to put Lygone and Hyde on the ground so that she could chase after her fleeing Pokemon. "Archo, get your ass back here so that I can smack it!" She was irritated that her Gible was acting up in front of people, and she swore that when she caught up with him, she was going to punish him so hard that he would never make a fool of her in front of anyone else again!

[atrb=border,0,true] | | Words 629 | Music Link | | Notes | | Tag Isabelle | | I didn't mean for this to potentially turn into a battle thread, but |: Kiran's personality is very abrasive. Also, that video made me giggle. | This... girl wasn't too smart, was she? Kiran didn't react much to her initial response, simply shrugging the question away. Her show of stubbornness did catch her attention though, sending a wave of dislike washing over her. For the first time, she actually took into consideration what the girl was wearing, and idly questioned how much the skimpy piece of clothing had cost the girl. Her smile faded just slightly at the thought, her mental standing of the girl before her dropping by the minute. How much would she dislike this perfect stranger before the meeting was over?
The remark about her brother caused Kiran's smile to fade completely, giving the girl a look of confusion and disbelief. Dumbfounded, she simply stared at the girl as she plopped down on the ground, glaring at her. Even as she shouted and chased after her Pokémon, Kiran simply stood there, astounded. For a few moments she stood like that, questioning the seriousness of what the girl had said. After she had determined that she was being completely serious; Kiran took a step back, causing Avaia to flop into the sand, and busted out in laughter. Grabbing her sides and doubling over from the laughter, it took a few moments for her to calm down enough to stand up and wipe tears out of her eyes, still laughing. "What a brat!" she exclaimed through her laughter. "You're nothing but a spoiled brat!" It was obvious that Kiran found the fact highly amusing, but even she highly doubted that the girl would see it that way. Arms still wrapped around her sides, her eyes were alight with the amusement of it all. "You can't simply claim something because you found it, little girl. The world doesn't work that way. Get off your royal throne and take a walk in the real world, hm?"
Calming down enough to quiet her laughter, the mocking grin that had taken place on her face did not fade. Oh, this spirited, bratty stranger would lash out at her, she was sure. Somewhere between her ranting about her not being welcomed there and ruining the girl's day, Kiran decided she didn't care. Though, the question of if the girl had heard her through all the chasing of her Pokémon was up for debate. It didn't really matter to her. "You should learn how to train your Pokémon better! If you don't learn how to control them, they'll just walk over a little brat like you." Granted, the girl wasn't that much shorter than Kiran, but the Purrloin Gijinka had selectively forgotten that tidbit. In all honesty, she was happy to find someone shorter than her.
Kiran turned to Avaia for the first time in a while, the Vulpix still glowering at her. Kiran knelt down, patting the Pokémon on the head and retrieving a small treat from her pocket, offering it to the stubborn Pokémon. After a moment, Avaia stepped forward and took the treat from her, forgiving the little mishap of Kiran momentarily ignoring her. Then a click of her tongue, and the Vulpix was suddenly alert. With the attitude the girl had already demonstrated, Kiran wouldn't be surprised if she threw a punch her way. In fact, she fully expected it. The Purrloin Gijinka had dealt with her fair share of spoiled brats in the past, and they were all so painfully predictable. It wasn't like she hadn't gotten used to getting under people's skins, either.
Standing back up, Kiran folded her arms behind her back again. With a playful, mocking light in her eyes, she turned back to the stranger. "I could give you a few lessons, you know. I am a breeder, after all. Half of the job is learning how to make Pokémon listen."

Isabelle wasn't in the best of moods, not particularly. Her peaceful day off had been invaded by some girl, she was getting bossed around, and as if that wasn't bad enough, now she was having Archo act like a stupid idiot the way that the Gible always managed to. "Archo, you get back here!" she yelled, chasing after the dual type with a growl, all riled up and ready for a fight. She dove after the tiny dragon-shark, barely missing as she made impact with the sand, and not even the gritty feeling of sand rubbing against the skin of his thighs with every step she took - stupid full-body tackle had gotten sand into her bottoms, and since her body was wet, it didn't seem to want to detach itself so readily - was enough to slow her down for long. Her train of thought was derailed, however, when the words the other had said finally found their way through to her, and immediately upon that realization she spun around, the long hair almost seeming to bristle up a little like a Nidorina's poison barbs. "I'm not a brat!" she yelled, huffing and puffing her chest out. "Haven't you ever heard of 'finders keepers'?!? And besides, my brother and I found it when we were kids! It's been our spot for a long time, and forgive me for being a little possessive of something that's just for us!" The sarcasm in her voice was poignant and sharp, every inch as daring as the girl who threw it out, wielding it just as fiercely as she would the pair of knives that were stashed up in her bag on the top of the cliff.
At the insult to her abilities to take care of her Pokemon, however, any remote idea of being civil went right out the window. "Me, train my Pokemon better!?! How dare you! Archo isn't the best behaved, yeah, but he's strong and he listens to me when it's important! He's a handful, even Lygone and Hyde have trouble dealing with him, but you don't see them complaining!" The girl was mad enough to see red, trembling hard and growling, showing off her teeth as she bristled, not even aware of the fact that Archo had stopped running around and was now standing at her feet, the Gible even preparing for a fight himself. "Lessons?!? There isn't anything you could teach me!" She let out a loud growl, pushing up high into the air as her hands glowed, tossing out a handful of pointed black spikes that scattered around the other girl and the Vulpix, their tips glinting in the sunlight with poison from the Toxic Spikes attack. She smirked darkly, letting all of her maliciousness show with the action - she'd practiced for a long time in front of a mirror, modeling it after Perseus' death glare, and she was pretty sure she got the point across. "That's just stupid, provoking me... after all, I'm far out of your league."

[atrb=border,0,true] | | Words 1,060 | Music Link | | Notes | | Tag Isabelle | | |: I don't even know. I'm sorry orz | The girl was on a tirade, and it was all Kiran could do to not just laugh in her face. She found the girl completely absurd; just like the rich, pampered kids in the city. No doubt she was one of them, Kiran mused.
Her dislike for the girl had reached the point of no return, and it was very evident in how she looked at the stranger. She was better than this person; simply because she had lived a hard life, and this brat obviously hadn't. This girl would never know what it was like to feel hated by your own blood, to fight to survive another day, or even to train while hunger and pain racked her body. No; this girl knew nothing of what it was like to live in the real world. She was just like every other pampered idiot. Not that Kiran had intended to demonstrate this; but when the girl jumped into the air, her smile faded. A look of pure hatred surfaced, and once again Kiran found herself in the mindset she had tried to avoid. She did not take a step back as the poisonous needles surround Avaia and her, though the Vulpix did take a step back and bump into her leg. The small Pokémon looked up and gave her trainer a look of worry, looking from Kiran and back to the stranger again and again.
Kiran was not fazed by the girl's attempt to intimidate her. In fact, she looked at her with complete boredom as she shrugged off her bag, even daring to turn her eyes away from her to search for the Vulpix's Pokéball. After a moment, she lifted it up, pointing it at the Pokémon, and with a red light the Pokémon vanished from view. The last thing she needed was her Pokémon getting hurt in this.
Digging out a hair tie, Kiran was oddly silent as she threw the bag aside and rather quickly and sloppily twisted her hair into a makeshift bun. Her eyes gravitated to the spikes, expression unchanging as her knowledge of Pokémon attacks ran through her mind. When she finally turned back to the girl, her eyes held none of the humor she had shown before. In the place of it, there was nothing but cold hatred. "If you think you are better than me; that arrogance will be your downfall, Gijinka." She said coolly, stretching rather casually. "Do you really want to fight? Don't think I'll hold back, especially against a pampered brat like you."
Surprisingly, her voice had been void of the joyful playing it had held before; in fact, it was void of any concrete emotion. Only cold conclusion was held in the air about her as she folded her arms defiantly, eyes studying the girl. The girl obviously trained, but she wore next to no clothing. How easily it would be to cause several small cuts amongst the exposed skin; but to do that would be a sentence of her death, no doubt. The poisonous barbs that surrounded her showed signs of danger, causing her instincts to have her on high alert for any other subtle changes the girl might give off to suggest any other threatening abilities. Was she a poison type? There were other Pokémon that could learn that move, but it was always better to be on the safe side, Kiran concluded. Even if she was not, she would treat her as though she were. The girl seemed trained, she repeated to herself, if only enough to give her the ego to think she could honestly take Kiran on and win. Perhaps Kiran's own ego was clouding her vision, she mused.
Never underestimate an opponent. The words rang out in her head, causing her nose to twitch in annoyance. This... this brat had a reason that she believed righteous to boast about her prowess, and it would only be suited to judge the authenticity of the ego once the battle had commenced. Still, she was a Gijinka. Kiran couldn't decide if that meant she was legal or not, and if she were legal, that put her in connection with Epispect. No matter what happened, Kiran couldn't let on that she was a Gijinka as well. She had trained for years on how to protect herself against people, Gijinka and humans alike, long before she gained the abilities of a Gijinka. She had no fear in facing one with the handicap now. Still, it was irritating. She'd just have to kick the girl senseless if she pressed the matter.
"How about we just settle this as a disagreement, and both go our separate ways? I'm not in much of a mood to fight, but if you insist, I have no issue with handing your ass to you on the silver platters that you high-class prudes insist on dining upon." A cold smile snaked across her features, the warning behind her words flashing in her eyes. "Gijinka or not-it hasn't stopped me from beating up more menacing individuals than what you show yourself to be." Yes, Kiran was fairly confident in her fighting skills. It hadn't stopped her from landing flat on her rear in the past in the training she did daily at home, but she knew her way around the ring. Action and reaction, the flow of battle; reading the movements of the other before striking out... she knew very well how to win a fight, even if she might fight a bit dirty.
Silently, she waited the response of the other. Body tense with the impending chance of a battle, she silently pondered the idea of grabbing one of the bards and using it as a weapon against the girl. Deciding against the idea rather quickly, she stood still as a statue. She really had no desire to fight this girl, but it looked as though she might not have the option. Perhaps she should just dodge until the girl tired, given that Kiran could maneuver the spikes that laid scattered about her feet. It shouldn't be too hard of a task-nothing compared to half of the security grids her heists consisted of. If the girl lunged at her, she would find a way to use the momentum to clear the spikes, she silently decided. Even if it meant taking one hit on purpose.

Words;; 642 Tags;; Kiran Smith and others Eggs;; None Layout by Kuroya Notes;; Little longer post, so yay, though I apologize for the late. Stupid schoolwork. Bl Her bikini looks sorta like this, just for reference.
Isabelle found her face twisting when she saw the expression of hate on the other girl's face, but if someone said that it was in anger, they would have been wrong. The smirk tugging up her lips was intense, and something in her gut preened under the thought that Perseus would have been proud at the fact that she was taking after him. Sure, she was slightly disappointed that the other didn't seem the least bit perturbed by the poison spikes scattered around her feet and the paws of the other's Vulpix, but she found that it didn't take long for her to simply stop caring. After all, Poison Spikes was more of a precautionary move, a proactive measure in case the other had any powerful Pokemon in her arsenal, ones that were stronger than the three clustered around the Nidorina's feet. She felt a little silly in a slightly defensive posture given that she was wearing only a bikini instead of her usual outfit, but then, if she was wearing that, she would've had her daggers on her, and then she would've started with a different attack rather than tossing out the spikes whose tips gleamed with her poison. She blinked, a little surprised when she saw the girl put her Pokemon away, but then a cruel smirk spread across her lips. "What's wrong? Afraid your Pokemon are weaker than mine? And you were bragging that your abilities to train Pokemon were better than mine." She showed off her teeth, laughing coldly. "So much for that theory. But I guess I shouldn't expect bravery from someone cowardly enough to not accept logical reasoning!" She snorted at the other girl's words, stretching one hand as she moved it behind herself, preparing her next attack. "Pft, I don't think I'm better than you, I know I'm better than you," she mocked cockily, feeling the power collecting in her palm. "And please, I'd be insulted if you held back. Epispect doesn't foster weakness in anyone, and neither does Percy!"
She then huffed again, eyes narrowing. "Go our separate ways? Yeah right! You insulted me and Percy, you're going down now! And guess what, silver's over-rated anyway, earth to stupid, we're not as rich as you seem to think we are!" She growled, jerking her head higher as her cyan eyes flashed. "And so what if I'm not scary? It doesn't matter as long as I can fight, and I've taken down far stronger opponents than you! She could feel her other palm itching, and it was then that she realized that the electricity had traveled up her arm to dance the sparks over her skin, stopping at her shoulder as she collected the electricity, not as prominent as some of what she'd seen her brother throw around like it was nothing. Then again, that wasn't too surprising that her electricity wasn't as potent as his: Perseus was an Electric-type Gijinka, an Eelectross to be precise, and she was just a Nidorina. It'd be foolish to presume any attempt at an electric attack would be anywhere near as powerful as his. Still, she didn't think twice about leaping up into the air again, much as her brother always would to get leverage when he'd attack, and she gathered up the electricity as best she could before she shot it off of her palms with a yell, the electricity darting towards her target with a loud crackle, a Thunderbolt aimed right for the other girl. "Take that!" she cried, hair swirling around her. She'd prove that she was strong enough to be a proper Epispect agent, and she'd do it by beating up this bitch and dragging her back to Aether by her hair! There was no way this girl wasn't up to no good if she was picking a fight with her, absolutely no way!
