Solo felt the two Screech attacks lower his physical defenses, but that didn't bother him these two had barely attacked him physically. Though he was slightly disheartened at the fact that his Hurricane attack missed its mark. Then the man taunted him, and he was seriously torqued off at the moment. This guy thought that he was going to destroy him. He wouldn't allow this guy to defeat him so easily. That was when the Ice user charged him with a hand that contained quiet a bit of power. Solo knew that if he allowed that attack to hit him, it would hurt a lot. Especially because his defenses had been decreased by so much. So he did the next best thing. He jumped, and flipped over the Crush Claw attack so that he was standing behind the attacker.
Solo quickly put some distance in between him, and his enemies. Snapping his fingers another wind began to engulf the battlefield, but it wasn't like Hurricane. A massive Twister formed in the battlefield, and it was sucking in all the small debris around the battlefield. This attack would hit them both if it was effective, and even then it had a nice side effect that would allow him a free turn to strategize. He was putting things together now, and he knew that he only had a few moments to think things out.
They were probably going to come at him with physical moves now that his defenses were lowered so much. They probably figured out that special attacks weren't going to do much to him thanks to his Multiscale ability. However thanks to that others Taunt he was forced to use only his attack abilities for the time being. He hated it when he ran into ability blockers. They annoyed him to no end. Hopefully they would both be sucked up into his Twister, and it would gain it's second effect. That would allow him some breathing room, and force them on the defensive for a time if only for a bit. "Yeah let me know how that goes." he said with a laugh.

Watch the end from dying eyes Now the dark is taking over Magnus watched with a wary eye as the hurricane went hurdling towards Ludwig... and then right past him. There was a long, torturous moment where he was torn between pitying the poor guy or just laughing if his vocal cords would allow it. That was the most outlandish miss he’d ever seen, and it was only accented by the fact that Ludwig started taunting him. At least his partner seemed to be having a grand old time with it, laughing like a maniac as he charged at Solo with a crush claw. Magnus was perfectly content to being a bystander and backup most of the time when they were fighting dragons; it was Ludwig who had a good card over them. A few more mental calculations later, and he figured that Ludwig once again had a good trump over this Dragonite. Roost only got rid of his flying type for one turn, after all. But he didn’t have much time to think of that. He felt the wind beginning to tug at his hair, his clothes, and he knew he had to anchor himself down somehow. His hands began to ooze a strange purple energy and without much more thought, he dug the poison jab into the ground, hanging on as the twister whipped right into him. He swore he felt like his wrists were going to dislocate themselves, and perhaps he was hit in the face with more than one clod of loose dirt... but once the twister passed, he got back up to his feet shakily, taking a low breath. While he was at it, he might try his hand at inflicting something. With his hands still dripping the mysterious purple ooze, he bolted towards Solo, arms raised and ready for a poison jab. That was all he was doing, really, beyond getting the hell out of the way. At close range, Ludwig had no real way to avoid the twister, and it picked him up, throwing him back hard. It wasn't a particularly impressive move, really, nor was it a strong one. Really, his ice beams would have been extremely effective, if he could manage to land another one.
Which, unfortunately, went right out the window. Ludwig came down hard, landing at an awkward angle. He was winded, cursing himself for it as he shoved his hands to the ground, trying to pick himself up. Magnus was going to freaking kill him for getting caught up like that, and he still hadn't managed to spike the guy with an ice beam.
He was tired of this crap! The moment he could get his head straight, that Solo guy was in for a world of hurt.

They both had been hit by his twister attack which was great, and one of them seemed to be incapacitated for a time. That only made it better for him. Easier as well because the other guy attacked him with a fist full of poison. It was a good thing he had put some distance between himself, and his opponents otherwise he wouldn't have had time to dodge. In a single fluid motion he dodged to the side of the attack, and he smirked as he once again at the man in front of him. Solo's stats at the moment far outclassed theirs. His speed had been increased dramatically, and even his attack had been pumped up. They were going to have to try a lot harder to hit him with those up close attacks.
Snapping his fingers again another massive Twister whipped up, and headed off towards his opponents. That attack would do moderate damage, but its chance to make them freak out for a turn was valuable to him. Especially because he was on his own at the moment. He wanted to release his pokemon, but he didn't want them to get hurt. So he would have to rely on his own abilities. Smiling at the two people that he was fighting he he watched his Twister whip around the battleground. "Oh a poison attack? Is that the best you can do? Pathetic! Look at your partner he is over there on the ground shaking from how hard I hit him." Solo said with an evil glee in his voice.

Watch the end from dying eyes Now the dark is taking over At this point, Magnus may have been the most displeased man Solo ever had the pleasure, or displeasure, to meet. He growled under his breath, probably giving a whole string of insults in German that involved the other blond’s mother and a goat, but that didn’t matter right now. He was regulating himself, venting, seething quietly until he could get it out in a hit. Even if Solo’s speed was up, his evasiveness sure wasn’t. He’d land a hit sooner than later, even as his poison jab missed as the other man sidestepped it. Magnus simply scowled back at Ludwig, on the ground after flinching from that twister. He wasn’t pleased whatsoever, but he wasn’t about to voice it when they needed morale. He’d chide him about it later, just as Ludwig would be quick to point out all his mistakes and vice versa until they vented. For the time being, however, he turned his attention back at the other high speed wind being thrown at him. This time around, being so close, he couldn’t sink his hands into the ground like he had before. He leaned into the wind, bracing himself and bringing his arms up to his face as to not get hit and potentially knocked unconscious by a rogue bit of wood. Magnus was slid back on his feet and soon enough, pushed down to the ground and dragged another couple of feet before the twister finally subsided. He blinked up at the sky for a couple of moments, seemingly dazed, but swiftly got his bearings back together. He wasn’t happy; not one single bit. He just hoped that Ludwig wouldn’t flinch again and rushed Solo head-on. His teeth seemed to grow dark for a second, dripping black energy as he lunged into a crunch, recoiled, then snapped forward in a poison fang, which gave him another shot at poisoning the uppity bastard. Magnus was hit by twister (20% flinch, rolled 99) Magnus used Crunch Magnus use Poison Fang (30% chance poison) Show me where forever dies Take the fall and run to heaven

He had been stupid, had got caught, and he knew Magnus wasn't going to let him live it down. He'd just have to do better, and now that Magnus was in close combat, eager to finish it, Ludwig was entirely content to get the dragon good. He couldn't avoid everything.
He stayed low to the ground, letting the twister pass largely over head - even if it still hit. This time, though, he didn't go flipping all over, opting to stay low to the ground an ensure he got some good shots in. His mouth cracked open, firing an ice beam at Solo, taking only a moment before shooting a second ice beam at the Dragon, eager to take him down.

Solo realized that he was in a tight spot all too late as the poison man quickly hit him hard with a fanged attack. The force of the attack sent him back, and he could feel the poison coursing through his veins, and he slumped down to one knee. Then another fanged attack bashed into him knocking him further down, and he let out a roar of frustration. Those attacks hurt, and had seriously dropped his stamina down. Then he felt the freezing beam of the ice user. It smashed into him throwing him backwards, and before he could fully stand up another one smacked right into him. This one didn't throw him backwards though as it froze him into a solid block of ice. His mouth open in a grin as his blue eyes glittered in his icy prison.
No he wasn't dead...Just barely alive they would have to try harder to kill him. Now he was resting regaining his strength little by little vaguely aware of the outside world. Though he couldn't move, or hear much he was aware. It was like he was in a comatose state, and his heartbeat was low to sustain his life. Now he just had to wait, and bide his time. This wouldn't be the last time he saw these two that he was sure of. And he drifted off into unconsciousness...

Watch the end from dying eyes Now the dark is taking over The feeling of flesh and blood under his teeth was often good for driving his adrenaline up at the beginning of a battle. It made him go insane in a broader sense, made him fight better, if not a bit more recklessly. Magnus released his jaw just in time for Solo to get bombarded by two waves of ice and at last, freezing into place. He waited in tense anticipation, thinking Solo would come bursting out and right at him the second he let his guard down... only he didn’t, and they were safe for the time being. The blond allowed his shoulders to drop, cracking his jaw to prevent it from getting stiff before walking over and poking at the now-frozen man. Yep, not budging until he unthawed, which was hopefully long enough that they could drag him back to the drop house and got their pay for him. ”...that was a pain in the ass.” He tossed the commentary over his shoulder at his partner, still on the ground. He was surprised that he got the right angle to hit him with those ice beams, but he appreciated it silently nonetheless. And yet, he couldn’t help but feel a bit snarky over that flinch. A call and fifteen minutes wait later, and they were all rounded up by dispatch. Heading back to the warehouse was the easy part, and Magnus was rather tired from the bout, though awake enough to keep Ludwig awake with him. They both needed some drinks right about now... Sometimes, they killed them on the field, but their success rate for retrieving DNA properly wasn't nearly as high as when it was done in a lab. There were issues, sometimes, if the target got killed. The DNA didn't come out perfect, or there wasn't enough. It cut into their money when they did, so getting the guy to a lab was always better. That way, even if the DNA screwed up, they got paid in full.
Being paid in full was always the best.
Giving the iceblocked gijinka a last shove out of the truck, Ludwig hopped down from the loading bay, leaving Solo in the care of Epispect. Returning to the new truck they'd been provided, he slid into the passenger seat, grumbling loudly. "Such a pain in the ass. I liked the old truck. It had dents in all the right places." He grumbled, leaning back into the seat and mumbling to himself. "And I'm going to need new equipment, because he blew up all my gear, and this is bullcrap. ...Back to the hotel?" He was eager to nap, really.

Watch the end from dying eyes Now the dark is taking over Solo was offloaded as quickly as they could manage, receiving their cheques for doing so without actually killing him. According to the scientists, live was best, but Magnus didn’t know anything about that. So instead, he opted to catch live when he was able and if he wasn’t, then too bad. Sliding into the driver’s seat of their new vehicle, Magnus scrunched up his nose at the stale smell of it. It’d probably been left in the warehouse for a very long time, and he absolutely knew that if they checked out the back, there would probably be a rat or two. ”Dents? We can dent the thing up all over again and restain the back seats to our heart’s desire. As long as it handles well, I’m alright. We can get to equipment later, though I have a sneaking suspicion that it’ll eat up what we got from Solo.” Actually, he was pretty sure of that too. The drive back to the motel was uninteresting, and the first thing that Magnus did when they got back was flop down onto the hard, worn mattress. Not like he could check on work if his laptop was scattered in a million pieces all across the wasteland. Show me where forever dies Take the fall and run to heaven

The two hunters had left, and the entire time that they had spent hauling him back to the Epispects building he was recovering. Bit by bit recovering his strength. They would not survive the next encounter that they had with him. His ice prison began to crack, and shards of ice began to fall onto the ground. Before they managed to get him all the way into the building he broke out of his prison. The resulting force managed to knock a few of the people that were trying to take him into the building down on the ground. Groaning he shook the cold from his body, and with a massive amount of effort he jumped into the air. Seeming to disappear into the sky above as he Flew away. They would never catch him now as his powerful legs managed to carry him quiet a distance away. Finally he was free, and he would find those two hunters again, and destroy them.

He was already plotting to restain the back seats, possibly with whoever they hunted next. There was something so satisfying about shoving a captured illegal in the back seat, and having them smell the blood of the last person they hunted. It always made them panic, and it was always so satisfying to grind their nose into it.
Needless to say, Ludwig wasn't the most sympathetic of people when it came to the illegal plight. If someone needed DNA to be powerful, then they weren't really strong at all, were they? Being strong was a state of mind, as far as he was concerned. Some had it, some didn't. He did, Magnus did, and most everyone else didn't. That was the only reason he got along with the Seviper as well as he did - mutual respect for the fact that they didn't just fold over when faced with a proper challenge.
He was, however, slightly miffed when Magnus flopped onto the bed. That was his job! Of course, Magnus wasn't even down for a full thirty seconds when Ludwig's phone beeped, and he fished it out. Why the hell was he getting a mess- oh, right, laptop was dead.
He read the message, face gradually becoming more amused, before heading over to the bed, sitting down, and shoving the phone at Magnus. "Headquarters had a breakout. What're the odds they didn't secure the cargo before he defrosted?"

Watch the end from dying eyes Now the dark is taking over Tired. He was damn tired, and he needed a drink or else he'd wake up with no voice. Using three screeches in a row was a terror on his throat, and he'd need a damn warm drink before his vocal cords came to the full realization of what he did to them. But he didn't have the energy to go and get a glass right now... or the energy for much, for that matter. He just wanted to laze around for a little while and use his free time before they were sent a new laptop. When the phone was shoved into his face, he almost wanted to go and shove it up Ludwig's ass... well, maybe not his partner's in particular. Perhaps his boss, though that would definitely get him fired. "Then tell them to go get it instead of calling us. I'm not going after that smug bastard again." The blond rolled over to his other side, burying his face into the lumpy pillows. "If they want us after him, they better be paying us the fee again." Which they wouldn't, he already knew. But with the laptop destroyed and the only link between them and the company being Ludwig's brickberry, he was confident that they wouldn't be getting anything in a little while. It was cold in the room... he needed somewhere warm to curl up. A pause, brief as he glanced over his shoulder at his unsuspecting partner before settling down in the bed again. A small yawn, as if he were about to fall asleep... Then a pounce, practically landing on Ludwig and practically curling up against him. IIt's cold."Show me where forever dies Take the fall and run to heaven

Thankfully, it was a fairly durable phone, because anything that was't durable would have broken a million times over, considering how badly Ludwig treated his things. "Was a general message to keep an eye out, they haven't sent us for retrieval just yet. Probably won't, till they can replace our stuff." They wouldn't want to send anyone out without being able to send them the full reports, after all.
Ludwig was, for the large part, expecting what came next. Magnus always wanted to cuddle, always wanted the body heat, and Ludwig simply rolled with the tackle, flopping down onto the bed with Magnus latched onto him. "You're a bastard, you know that? Stop stealing all my precious warmth." He commented, clearly amused.

Watch the end from dying eyes Now the dark is taking over He supposed that by the way Ludwig took the tackle, he was expecting it. Was he becoming predictable now? That just wouldn’t do… But he’d deal with that later, because now, Ludwig was awfully close and awfully warm and it was amazing what a bit of heat could do. Ever since getting that damned Seviper DNA, he’s been curling up near heaters and fireplaces and draping himself all over his partner because he’d been feeling cold. Before, when they’d first started out, they always slept in separate beds and sometimes even in separate rooms. Of course, since then, it’s devolved into Magnus cornering Ludwig into the smallest corner and latching onto him. ”Oh shut up, you don’t need it like I do.” Either way, he was blatantly disregarding Ludwig’s personal space and clutching him like his life depended on it, even if he knew full well that the Seviper DNA didn’t affect his ability to regulate his own body warmth at all. He was definitely feeling a bit better now that he was actually warm again. The wastelands had been pretty alright, but coming back into the city, the chill had slowed him considerably. He buried his nose in his partner’s silvery hair, marveling absently at the ears that seemed to crop out from the top of his head. He wanted to pet them… Show me where forever dies Take the fall and run to heaven
