Solo was walking around the wasteland, his button up shirt undone like it usually was revealing his bare chest. His black shorts, and his sandals looked like he was on his way to the beach. His blonde hair whipping in the gentle breeze, and he looked around the barren place. He remembered when he was a child, and this place was full of life. His parents would often come here to get fresh produce, and help keep the people who worked here in business. Flashing back he remembered how caring his parents were, and how they did their best to protect him when Epispect came after him. For all their efforts they wound up dead, and here he was alive. He would avenge them though...Their efforts would not be in vain.
He knew the life he led was a dangerous one. Being an illegal hybrid along with being a member of Team Rocket he didn't exactly have the law on his side. He was alone...That suited him just fine though he had no ties, and nothing to keep him down. No he would move forward, and look to the future. A smirk appeared on his face as he looked around to the sky. How great it would be if he could sprout wings, and fly away. One day he would be able to soar into the sky as a dragon would, and put all his worries behind him. Giving a content sigh he began to wonder what the future had in store for him.

Watch the end from dying eyes Now the dark is taking over A mug of tea and a book in hand was how Magnus usually liked to spend his afternoons. There had been no work from that morning, and so he was free and content to settle down and crack open a book. The worn mattress wasn’t the most comfortable thing to be sitting on, but it was better than the chair he thought would collapse any second, and the couch covered in mystery stains. And besides, he was warm here. Ludwig was napping next to him and not trying to nag him about something for once. The blond licked his thumb, turning the page when he heard a familiar beep coming from the company issue laptop. Flipping the device open and pulling the email, he practically smacked Ludwig upside the head when he read the first paragraph. ”Ludwig, get up. We have some work to do.” It wasn’t as if he was eager for work, and if it involved filing papers or reports, he would’ve ignored it until the evening. No; this one was different. Magnus dropped the laptop onto his sleeping companion before dog-earing his book and getting out of bed. It had been a while since their last hunt, and according to what he’d been sent, they’d be paid handsomely for it. A Dragonite Gijinka, spotted along the eastern ridge of the wastelands, out in the open and all. The file had been attached to the email listening everything they needed to know, but he’d get to that once Ludwig got out of bed. Magnus grabbed what he needed, throwing the filled Pokeballs into his pocket but unsure of whether he’d use them or not. Guns and ammunition though, again, he wasn’t sure if they’d be using those. This would be a Dragonite Gijinka they’d be dealing with, and sometimes, things with pride didn’t go down when they were supposed to. Suiting up was a smaller task; he didn’t want to go heavy on the armor and he advised Ludwig to do the same. Finally, licking the pad of his thumb and slicking a stray hair back, he glanced over at his partner. ”Everything else is in the truck?”Show me where forever dies Take the fall and run to heaven

He could hear the voice coming from through the haze of his nap, and he grumbled slightly, rolling onto his side as Magnus went over to check the file. Why did sightings have to come up while he was sleeping?
He sat up, grumbling slightly as Magnus suited up. It was so much easier for him - all his gear was in the trunk, save his belt and pokeballs, which he grabbed with one hand, belting it in as he shuffled over, peeking at the file. "Freaking Dragonite? ...Wandering around the desert?" What the hell? Normally the sightings were tiny little alerts, sightings that might be a Gijinka. This, though, was obvious. The guy wasn't even wandering around under a hood and cloak, like so many did - he was, if the reports were right, barechested and in shorts - not exactly the most subtle gear, so far from the water.
"Yup." He commented, heading right out the door and hopping into the passenger side. He never drove, after all. The black truck was Magnus's domain, after all. The truck was practically his baby.
Ludwig was entirely content to simply lean into the passenger seat of the pickup and nap, letting Magnus do the actual driving. They'd get there when they got there, and then all hell was going to break lose.

In a world where creatures could bend reality, and time on a whim you would think nothing could surprise you anymore. Well Solo had that thought as well that was before he found the silence of the Wasteland being disturbed. Turning around he saw dust in the distance. When he focused his vision he could clearly make out the outline of a vehicle. It was colored black, and coming towards his location. "Oh it's the Men in Black!" he said with a laugh that resembled a roar. Narrowing his crystal blue eyes he smirked as his entire body began to glow blue. Relaxing all of his muscles his speed increased immensely, but he wasn't done the blue aura was soon replaced with a crimson red aura. This move would boost his speed, and his attack in one shot. A snarl curved on his lips as he stared at the truck coming at him. His razor sharp teeth flashing he was going to destroy them.
Now he was just watching them with amusement glinting in his eyes. If they were really after him he wondered how they would go about getting to him. He wouldn't be so easy to capture, and he got a brilliant idea. Why wait for them? With an evil glee in his eyes, and a smile that revealed his razor sharp teeth he ran towards them. With his increased speed it wouldn't take him long to reach that giant black machine that housed the people that obviously wanted something from him. They were either there to kill him, or to talk. Either way he would never know because he didn't like talking to his victims. Instead he preferred to just obliterate them from the get go so that he didn't have to worry about any loose ends.

Watch the end from dying eyes Now the dark is taking over Of course, as soon as they hopped into the rather well equipped truck, Ludwig was almost immediately asleep in the passenger seat. Typical, but it wasn’t going to get to him at the moment. Driving while distracted was generally a very dangerous thing, but they were on the very end fringes of the city, driving out to the ass end of nowhere and Ludwig was asleep; Magnus needed to get his information somehow. Apparently, the guy was decked out in beach clothes and wasn’t even making a half hearted attempt at hiding. Driving into the wastelands wasn’t much trouble in the first place; they were practically next door. The dust picked up and made their entrance not so subtle, but who needed that when your target was parading around, almost asking to be caught. He was glancing back and forth between the laptop and the front window when all the sudden, out of the corner of his eye, he saw a dust cloud. A dust cloud with a little speck in it. He slammed the breaks so hard, he’d be surprised if Ludwig didn’t go flying out the windshield. Or at least hit his head on the dash. For a second, Magnus stared at the coming cloud, squinting at it before he realized what it was exactly. ”You have got to be fucking with me.” He growled, shutting the laptop and throwing it onto the back seat/ ”I’d say we just hit him with the car and get it over with. He’s running right at us.” But of course, that wasn’t going to do or hold over very well with Epispect, so he practically kicked his door open and stepped out onto the dry dirt. He hadn't been in the truck more then three minutes when he was already half asleep, napping the whole damn way there - right until the point where he was nearly thrown out the damn window by the sudden stop. His hands slammed forward, leaving some wonderful scratches on the dash, but thankfully, he didn't quite go out the window.
"What the hell was that?!" He snapped, stretching his neck out. Damnit, he was going to have freaking whiplash after that little stunt. Magnus was going to owe him a million freaking massages for this.
That was the point where Magnus pointed out what should have been obvious, and Ludwig squinted out the window. "Well, I'll be damned." He started, glancing over at Magnus with a grin. "Hell no, you'd scratch the paint." He commented, shoving the door open far more roughly then someone concerned about the paint job should have. He glanced into the back, considering the whole array of weaponry before deciding to do things the old fashioned way. "Alright, Dragonite. Total pushover, going to splatter like nothing."
Wearing nothing more then jeans and a T-shirt, Ludwig stood on the other side of the truck, cracking his neck and facing down the on-coming threat. "So, same shit we did to the last dragon?" He commented, almost offhand as he waited for contact.

It didn't take him long to reach them with his increased speed, and by the time he got there they were both standing on either side of the vehicle. They were certainly not there to talk to him, and he recognized the black vehicle as the same as some of the ones that Epispect used. A grin came over his features that allowed all of his sharp teeth to be seen as he stared at the men. "Hahaha! Really the best that they can send is you two? Pathetic, I guess that their resources are running thin considering I ate the last hunter that they sent after me. He was delicious...I wonder how you two will taste?" the Dragonite hybrid said with an evil laugh that filled the air with a chill that wasn't from the wind. Solo was never one to talk very much, but he was extremely arrogant in the fact that he always had to have the last word.
"Well it's too bad you are gonna have to walk back to the city now." he said, and then without warning he shot a beam of golden energy from his mouth towards the truck. His goal was simple. Blow the truck up, and if they got caught in the explosion, and hurt then that was a plus for him. Solo was standing about ten yards from them so he would be well out of the blast range, but they were standing right next to it. He wondered how they would handle this. After loosing his beam of energy he sat there cross armed, and watched as his Hyper Beam hit the truck square, and blew it sky high. The flames whipped around the small area, and smoke clouded his vision so he couldn't tell if the two men got hit in the explosion, or not. It made no difference to him because they wouldn't beat him. He would eat them.
"I hope your not dead already?" he said in a fake whiny voice. After words he gave a laugh that was more like a roar than anything else.

Watch the end from dying eyes Now the dark is taking over Magnus sighed somewhat heavily, stepping out of the truck and facing the oncoming dust storm. This wasn’t anything new; he’d been doing crap like this for long enough to know what to expect. ”Same as the last dragon.” Magnus agreed. He rolled his shoulders as they waited for this Dragonite to get to where they were, and though he seemed to be going at a good pace, he still had a bit of time. ”Dragon types and their pride, thinking they were invincible and could destroy anything in their path. It seemes that they didn’t realize they were not actual dragons.” But at last, the man was standing a good ten feet away from them. Magnus tilted his head in vague curiousity as he spoke, lifting an eyebrow at him. ”Ludwig, I think this guy’s on something, to be honest.” This Solo guy was strutting around like a damned peacock, and the blond wouldn’t have been surprised at all if he buffed and raised his stats beforehand. He saw the attack coming. Hyper Beam was a pretty flashy move, strong, but required downtime that they could use to their advantage. He saw the glow before it even shot, and as quick as he could, Magnus spun and rolled with it as he was trained to do at home. The explosion hit him full force in the back and for the millionth time, he was so thankful he was trained to know how to deal with this without dying. He braced hismelf down on the dirt a couple feet away, kneeling, glancing over his shoulder to see the pickup go up in flames. Damn it, now they’d need to walk back and drag the body with them. Time to show this little Dragonite some modesty. ”Ludwig!” It wasn’t a call for his partner; he knew that the Zangoose Gijinka had survived the blast by his own means. It was time for them to start, and Magnus knew that Ludwig would know what the call meant. Show me where forever dies Take the fall and run to heaven

Yup, he sure as hell sounded like it. "He's in shorts. Of course he's on something." Ludwig said with a laugh. Who the hell wore shorts out in the freaking wasteland? No one, that's who.
Which was, of course, right around the time the dragon shot a hyperbeam at the truck, causing a massive explosion. Ludwig wasn't quite as prepared for it as Magnus was, but he sure as hell knew what to do. He rolled with it, ending up on his side, thick black smoke filling the air above him. He felt stiff and a bit winded, and was entirely sure that his shirt (if not his pants) were ruined, nevermind the truck. Well, hell, he was going to be taking it out on the dragon.
Popping his mouth open, Ludwig shot an ice beam right at where Solo had been standing. He didn't think the guy would stay still, but the moment it finished, he darted away from the wreckage of the car - only to realize that, yes, Solo had stayed still. "Idiot! Shouldn't have stayed still when i knew where you were!" The smoke had been his only proper advantage, and now it was all wasteland, and he'd lost it. Ludwig running his mouth was more then just banter, though, as it helped keep the circulation in his mouth going as he paused, shooting another ice beam towards the illegal Gijinka.

Well his blowing up of their vehicle had done what he wanted, and forced them down. One however was able to retaliate easier than the other considering it fired an Ice Beam at him. Smirking he leaped into the air, and easily dodged the first one. Though when he landed the second Ice Beam caught him. He took the attack, and it hurt a lot because of his typing. But a multicolored aura surrounded him during the attack, and he grimaced as he got back up, and stared at the one responsible for hitting him. His Multiscale ability was handy because as long as he stayed at full health any damage he took was halved. And while he was still hurt pretty bad it was nothing compared to what it could have been. The damaged had been halved, and now he was kind of angry.
Walking casually towards the Ice Beamer he held out his hand, and blue electricity sparked at his palm. He launched the blue lightning towards his opponent with a grin. Thunder Wave was a dangerous move because it would make his opponent slower, and it also had a chance of causing them to be completely immobile for a short while. And if that would happen then he would have full opportunity to blast the man into oblivion. "I am surprised that you have an ice type move. No matter though I am going to destroy you all the same." he said to the Ice user with a twisted grin. His blue eyes were narrowing, and he made sure that he kept his attention on both of his opponents.
Fighting two people at once was difficult, but he figured he could manage. After all he wasn't going to be some little twerp that was easily defeated. No he was going to kill them, and then probably eat them. He licked his lips at the thought.

Watch the end from dying eyes Now the dark is taking over The smoke seemed to slowly clear, but not before he saw a light blue ice beam come shooting out of the thick soot. Two were shot out, and though it seemed one missed, the other hit just as well. Magnus dusted off his pants, hoping his gloves wouldn’t get too dirty this time around. Their cover under the smoke from their (now decimated) vehicle was beginning to thin, and their cover wouldn’t hold up for long unless Magnus brought down a haze. It wasn’t time for that one yet... The blond looked up... only to see Solo rather casually strolling over to Ludwig with all the swagger he found in a high school gangster. He had to resist the temptation to roll his eyes, go over and smack the kid upside the head. There was a spark of energy and he swore under his breath; thunder wave, huh? Time for a little distraction... For a split second, there was a deep, pulsing headache in his temples as he let the air in his lungs compress. He braced, and then opened his mouth with the most horrifying Screech one could ever be witness to. He only wished he had a megaphone at the moment; it would surely shatter everybody’s ear drums, but he was aiming it right at Solo. It was soon followed up by a massive Flamethrower. Hopefully, it would give Ludwig enough time to go do his thing. Show me where forever dies Take the fall and run to heaven

Yup, his second blast had hit right on, but the guy glittered like a damn rainbow. Ludwig hadn't read up enough to work out what it was, but he knew it was freaking annoying. "Damnit, can't you just go down?" He snapped, a little bit annoyed that the guy was taking up so much of his time. How dare he? Nevermind, how was he supposed to sleep when the truck was in pieces?
The electricity hit him hard, and he stumbled back a bit, catching himself before he fell. His whole body crackled with leftover electricity, and hell, did that sting. Thankfully, he wasn't a complete idiot, and fished into the same belt that held his pokeballs, fishing out a full heal and spraying it on his side. Immediately the electricity dissipated, and he could only grin at the dragon. "Idiot." He taunted, wincing as Magnus let out a screech.
The screech wasn't just something random, either. It was all just another part of the plan, even if it was unneeded. Cracking his jaw open, he shot another ice beam at the dragon, timing it to hit at almost the exact same moment as the flamethrower.
He always loved fire and ice.

A fake yawn escaped his lips as he waited for them to make a move, and he wasn't disappointed when the Ice users partner launched a horrible sound out of his mouth. The force from it made his hair blow like he was in a storm. Then the man launched fire from his mouth, and Solo smirked. He could handle the heat, and he ran right into the thick of the flamethrower, and knelt down. Touching the ground his body began to glow, and he used Roost to recover the stamina that he had lost. He was now back at peak physical condition, and Roost had another effect that not many knew about. It was one way that he was able to deal with Ice users easier. In addition to recovering his lost health it also removed his secondary typing of flying. That was when the cold beam struck him, and once again the rainbow aura surrounded him.
Now he had a slight advantage over them. Without his secondary typing for a while that Ice user would be hard pressed to do any real damage to him. Though that didn't meant that their attacks still didn't hurt. In fact his shirt was ruined from the Flamethrower that he had run into to conceal his actions. Tossing the charred piece of clothing aside his full frame was shown. Right where his abs were they were lighter than the rest of his body. Though that was only because of his hybrid status. It didn't matter he was just grinning at the two men now. They had just made him very angry.
Now it was his turn to attack. His blue eyes began to glow, and a white aura washed over his body, and he smiled at the two of them. Walking back still he watched as a glowing gust of wind formed near the Ice user that he was fighting. It started spinning in a circle, and the winds around his attack picked up. Solo was using one of his strongest attacks Hurricane if it worked the Ice user would be picked up into the air, and tossed around, and then thrown back to the ground. It also had the nice little side effect of being able to confuse them, and cause them to hurt each other, or themselves. Whichever didn't matter to him. Because he wouldn't lose. Not to these two pathetic insects.

Watch the end from dying eyes Now the dark is taking over There was a long pause from Magnus’ end as the flamethrower-icebeam combo subsided, leaving a smoking but cold trail in it’s wake. It wasn’t because of the intensity of the blast, or the fact that by some miracle the timed it perfectly... but for the fact that Solo just stripped down in front of him. He literally tore off his damn shirt and tossed it aside, standing there and bathing in his bare-chested glory and Magnus had to refrain from going over and smacking him upside the head. Instead, he clenched his teeth and got ready for an incoming attack... Only Solo didn’t aim anything at him. He sent a hurricane at Ludwig, but didn’t even seem to consider glancing in his direction. Magnus’ brow furrowed a bit, trying to rework the tactics in his head. At last, the blond straightened up and cleared his throat. This was going to wreck his vocal cords for the next little while and they were all going to need to go for a lot of drinks after, but it might be worth it. Feeling the pressure rise in his chest again, and sure he was going to bust a lung and a few ear drums doing this, he unleashed another ungodly screech at Solo, who’s attention was diverted towards Ludwig. He continued his audio assault, cutting it off abruptly when he felt like his hair was running out. Taking only a second’s pause to recuperate, he took another deep inhale and unleashed the third screech, taking a huge chunk out of Solo’s defense and practically crippling it at this point. Healers were never any fun to fight, but thankfully, Ludwig had a way to deal with that. The wind picked up as that damn dragon shot a gust of wind at him, and Ludwig braced himself, ready for another shot of pain.
Much to his extreme amusement, the hurricane shot right past, missing him entirely. He couldn't even help it, just turned and started to taunt his opponent, spiteful to the end. "What the hell was that? You call that an attack? You missed me by a freaking mile!" He dodged forward, launching himself towards Solo as he lashed out, bringing his claw down into a crushing attack. "I'll freaking destroy you!" He snapped, grinning like a maniac. Really, it wasn't so much anger or madness as it was the thrill of the proverbial hunt. It was rare he got into a proper fight, after all... at least not one that wasn't with Magnus.
( Hurricane has 70% accuracy, rolled 88. Missed. Ludwig used Taunt. Ludwig used Crush Claw.)
